I actually moved from the bitfenix to the inwin. the handles were squishy, yes. I used to move around alot more so the portability was really nice. also protected components because it's sitting on suspension basically.

I don't know why, but I really like the idea of having bottom intake instead of front intake (even if there's no performance improvement)

Downdraft coolers are actually how it's supposed to be, your VRM sink needs air moving through it to cool the VRMs, especially if you've got a 4 phase VRM with an OC, a tower cooler without a fan blowing on it is gonna run really hot, but you should be fine if your board has a good heatsink and the voltage isn't extreme.
