My DT 990 250 ohms works fine on my motherboard. Get enough volume at 20% on windows. DT 990 250 ohms is slightly harder to drive than DT 1990 so you probably would be fine but test first.

I got a D30/A30 stack. It's basically a Chinese magni+modi.
Works with latest Windows 10, and the output impedance doesn't seem to be a problem for my current headphones (Mad Dogs).
Can't comment on durability yet, but if you're in Europe and you want a cheap dac/amp stack that isn't Schiit, this will cost you the same.
