What is the Miata of technology?

It'd have to be something small, slow, but really fun and modifiable into a very fast, small, and fun thing. Nothing comes to mind. Maybe a Raspberry Pi or Arduino or something like that could be compared to a stock Miata?

I can assure you it's far from fun for a tall person

Its Mac u fag

You mean small, underpowered, impractical and overrated, no matter what year it was made in?

That'd definitely be any macbook from the last 10 years.

Mac is for faggots though

>highly customizable and cheap

These things are not consistent with anything Apple has made, ever.

Imagine being you

miatas arent that cheap

It's like $2500 for a 100k mile 5 speed miata like the one in OP's picture that's in nearly perfect condition and owned by responsible adults... That's not very expensive.

Correct

> 2.5k USD
> 100k miles
Fucking where? All NA miatas in decent condition in my area are 4k+

dont forget it has to be able to do anything, because miata is always the answer
also, the latest gens look better than the NA
fite me

Is this a riff on the "What is the Thinkpad of Cars" /o/ Thread?

I got a rust-free Florida example for $2500.
170k miles though. 1.8L, Same color, but base trim.
But prices are rising for NAs. NBs seem to be bottoming in price.

everyone wants the NA's because if the popups?
the new ones are way better apparently.

its ruby as a programming language.

Performance for price may be good and it might be fun but only gay people use it.

everything you said except for the performance for price and fun part

Pop-ups, nostalgia, just better styling overall. Additionally, supply is dropping because those cars are getting on to be very old. They'll never be considered classic vehicles but they're still well-loved so lots of people still want em. I'm willing to pay a few hundred extra to get an NA over an NB.

>hundred
its a few thousand in australia

You guys get Nissan Silvias and road-legal GT-Rs and cheap import Kei cars so I don't feel too bad for you guys.

How much does the Autozam AZ-1 go for in Australia?

i would love a clean na but as you said, they are pricey
leven looks better imo

>Autozam AZ-1
$15-20k, maybe up to $30k for the meme status, Ive only seen one or two here.
> Nissan Silvias
Don't you guys have 180s and S14's over there?
>Kei cars
We don't actually have many 660cc cars, they are rare

>leven
get out

Arduino potentially, it's extremely gimped by default but is decently powerful if you put the time into learning how to actually use it.

this

yeah nah

Pretty much anything sold as a silvia is either catastrophically ruined or 3/4ths of the price of a new car, or sometimes both.
