iPhone SE is the best blend of privacy/cost/usability

You fags can argue all day, but at the end of the day, I'm right.

If the LG V20 is getting pie, will the V35 and 40 see Q then, you think?

Guess this means surface phone is donezo too, right? Because they wouldn't be telling the holdouts to jump ship to iPhone or Android if they had an upcoming smartphone?

Do you think OnePlus 6T is good choice now?

> Redmi note 7 or pocophone
Both don't have NFC.

I never used NFC in my life.

Don't you live in shithole?

I think so.
But lg isn't fast in terms of rolling out updates, so getting Q may take some time in comparison to other vendors.

>not fully indulging the botnet means you live in a shithole

Stop buying chinkphones. Start buying nip phones.

>privacy
A proprietary iOS which requires an Apple account to work along with not being able to sideload software is anything privacy related? Use your brain for a second.
>/cost/usability
>not even an HD screen

Yeah, very usable.

absolute madlad

Sure, when they stop being overpriced and when Sony starts expanding their mobile decision instead of shrinking it.

Devision*

I cant believe im actually asking for faggotfox to actually use more ram. Runnin a Note9 and my browser keeps refreshing only after maybe a half hour or so of inactivity. I read that this has to do with ram allocation, but i still have over 2GB free. The hells the deal?

same problem
other phone

It was never a good choice to begin with.

Just bought this, will arrive soon.
Anyone have experience with Blackview?

Attached: bv9600_black1.jpg (1200x1200, 209K)

Why? What should I buy in $600?

About to cop an oukitel wp2. How do these things hold up to current smartphones in terms of performance? As long as I can read articles online and watch videos it's fine for me, but most phones seem to have (need?) more than 4gb ram these days...

Switching from a first gen oneplus one by the way

Jesus... Thank you. I should get some sleep.

Outlook is pure trash on android what app should I use to replace it?

Is the Redmi Note 7 the best choice in that price range? Any other suggestions for up to 250$ or so?

wait for Note 7 Pro

I looked everywhere for an iPhone SE today, but I'm skeptical about "refurbished" stuff. Shame, since my 5s is starting to show its age. Pretty much need a backup battery in my EDC now. I eventually decided to go with the Sony Xperia XZ2 since it seems to be the only remotely small phone on the market that has any amount of punch to it.

Speaking of which:
WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE SMALL PHONES

Comrade, when you don't use Google pay, our government is very unhappy.

Mx Player

Why shouldnt I purchase the note 9? What is better?12?

did he just call him to roast him

Soon to be former applefag here, looking to go with the Redmi Note 6 Pro or OnePlus 6t. Would I be able to use either phone on Sprint? Or am I fucked?

Pros:
- best in class in every category
- all the things you could do with a stylus
Cons:
- expensive as f
- fingerprint scanner remains in a bad place desu, still too close to rear camera
If money's no issue there's literally no other phone that could offer the same level of functionality as a Note 9

Is XZ1 Compact a good choice for a cheapish phone? How's the camera on it?

I'm not a fan of big phones and really all I use my current for is emails, social media, and photos.

>Would I be able to use either phone on Sprint?
No

>Is XZ1 Compact a good choice for a cheapish phone? How's the camera on it?
I have it and it's a great phone, but the camera isn't very good.

Oh well that's a bit shit, is there one at a comparable price and size with a better camera?

I'm stuck on a half-broken One M8 at the moment and need a new one without spending loads but I haven't kept up with the market for a few years now.

Well there's the XZ2 Compact but that's a bit more expensive

What is it with Jow Forums and small phones? What's the matter? Are you all a bunch of handlets?

Attached: OnePlus-6T-34-view-920x518.jpg (920x518, 96K)

Is there anything out right now that could be described as "perfect"? No cost/performance, just the very best

iPhone XS Max

Note 9/S9 with RR/LOS and Gcam

>Samsung shit

If it weren't for glass backs and curved display edges these would be it.

Pocophone

>chinkshit

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
no notch

I don't know exactly from where you are from, but it has to be some 3rd world shithole. Even here in west Europe XZ1C costs more than some buggy SE oiphone

I don't have Bluetooth headphones or in the car so that would just annoy me, plus would rather not spend that much if I can avoid it.

apparently the XZ4C will bring the headphone jack but that'll be even more expensive

>shit
Solid argument.

I have 200 dollars to buy a new phone what do i buy?

Attached: 5.jpg (1000x1000, 47K)

I like using my phone with one hand, not carry it in a purse like a bitch

>£200 budget

I can get a 32GB G6 for less than £170, should I do it? Or go £210 for 64GB?

I'm upgrading from a Moto X Play so pretty much anything is going to be a huge upgrade but I want it to be something that lasts me a good while, like 3 years or so.

My one concern with the G6 is bootlooping issues due to hardware. I was looking at the V20 but that seems to have that issue really bad.

Attached: LG-G6.jpg (1024x726, 65K)

VLC is best.

S9+, obviously.

Just buy the Zenfone Max Pro M1, or M2 if you can stand the notch.

I just bought a huawei p20 lite, how much did I fuck up?

sony xa2
samsung j7
lg v20
samsung gs8

pick one for att and international use

>1080p
>much worse pixel density
> worse cameras
>worse processor
>less RAM

Why would I choose this? Yeah the battery looks good, that seems to be the only advantage though. Am I missing something?

>1080p
>much worse pixel density
Nothing else is needed really. Just look at Sony's devices with ridiculous resolutions and pixel count. Only thing gained was a hit on battery life.

>considering bootloop trash
>scoffing at a better alternative
just buy LG then.

It's cheaper and runs snappy as fuck.

G6 doesn't have the widespread bootloop issue, it's the G4/G5/V20 generation that did.
£170 is a good price for that.

Nah 1440 is noticeably better imo, might be right on pixel density but combined with the lower resolution I'm not a fan.
I want to be able to use a VR headset with it so 1080p isnt enough for me.

Is the bootlooping that common? Maybe I am underestimating the problem.

If not for the screen I'd be very tempted. Are there any similar 1440p phones about?

Anyone have the Nokia 8.1? Was thinking of getting it, want some thoughts. Seems pretty good for about $400 or so. Also wondering how the audio is on it.

Attached: 1462710157119.jpg (610x660, 76K)

Wait more time

Get the G6, it's alright.

please do buy redmi note 7 sir thank you for choosing best option

>snappy as fuck
The processor seems to be Snapdragon 636, isnt that super old? Arent they on 800's now?

OnePlus 6 seems better all around for only $30 more

>Live in the UK
>Carrier is Three Mobile
>Currently use Lenovo P2

The compass on the phone is not working. I've tried Google Maps calibration, GPS essentials app and googled online solutions to no avail.

Give me recommendations on a suitable replacement. Not looking to spend more than £200-250 and happy to consider second hand models as well.

Really want a good all rounder, not just a camera phone or a gaming device.

I'll look into it. Thanks.

>I want to be able to use a VR headset with it so 1080p isnt enough for me.
It isn't enough for anyone and VR especially on smartphones is a flop, as is everywhere else for that matter. Good luck with your purchase.

Oh wait there isn't a headphone jack in there. Never mind. Rip.

What's the F-91W of smartphones?

Maybe you're looking at the 6t? The OnePlus 6 is $429 and has a headphone jack

Ah so it does. No micro SD slot but might live without. Thanks.

>Own s8+ and have no problems using it with one hand

Okay there, lady.

>VR especially on smartphones is a flop
Mate I just use it for degenerate JAV VR porn if I'm honest. At least you agree on 1080p being a shite resolution for 2019.

Do you know how the battery life is on them now? It's the one thing that makes me hesitant buying an older used phone, otherwise I would have dived right in by now.

I'm also conflicted on the capacity. I can get 32GB for £160 or 64GB for £215. £55 feels like a huge price difference just for 32GB of storage, especially when I'll be sticking a big SD card in there. IS there a real difference still in Android between SD and internal storage? Last I recall you couldn't install apps onto the SD card without root and shit like that. If problems like that don't exist anymore than I think 32GB is probably fine for me, it's what I have on my current phone anyway and it does me alright.

Bump, to see if anyone can still help

Developer options - Apps - Background process limit. Fiddle with those settings.

what's a good up-to-date phone (software and specs) with a headphone jack and a fully metal body?

€286 for the XZ1 (not compact), yea or nay?

Attached: 2001665497[1].jpg (670x800, 132K)

Why do you need an aternatve? It's libre FOSS and available on FDroid.

All right so suggestions please.

Massively. It's trash.

Pocophone

LG V30/V35/G7

Anyone have the Nokia 6.1 or 7.1? How are they? I was thinking of getting a new phone (current one is Moto X Pure) and they seemed like pretty good options

Attached: 1547675627525.png (1200x1080, 1.02M)

I want to buy a smartphone to use only as a music player. I want something small (preferably 4,7" or smaller), with great battery life and preferably support for 256gb+ SD cards. Is there any phone like this?
Rugged is good too.

Budget is about 350$

Last LG I had, V10, got the bootloop and developed ptsd for LG products. Did they fix that issue?

Oh yeah and I'm going to use an external amp for it so headphone jack does not matter
