Can you recommend any book about some interesting cold war era spy/organisation? I'm incredibly interested in cold war policy and strategy. But it's hard to find anything about spies that isn't also wrapped in myths and rumors.

Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Nitrox. 78, max depth 122' and I did a few guided cavern dives and I'm working towards my cave certs after I hit 100 dives.

How do I get over fear of failure? Every time I try to pick something up I'm immediately put off when I see how terrible I am at it. I don't even try when it's something I need training in because I don't want anyone to see me fail at something.

Attached: 1513278388009.jpg (700x845, 146K)

I got fewer dives but otherwise much the same. Cave shit scares me though.

you are a failure.
there, was it hard? you already knew that, so keep working, it wont change otherwise.

I loved the cavern dives. I like the idea that I'm going somewhere on earth that only a handful of people in the history of mankind will ever see for themselves. I did most of my certs and first ~40 dives near Galveston TX and in inland water which meant I never had more than 5 ft of visibility and 0 ft was typical so I'm very comfortable using lines and diving blind. What's your favorite dive?

How did you guys find a buddy? I'm open-water certified and have gone in a local lake a few years ago, but haven't gone since bcuz no buddy. Should I go on some charter dive or some shit?

Local dive shops are a good resource to find buddies. The ones around me plan local dives serval times a month where they meet up and go diving. Chartered dives are also another option.

>lifting as a hobby
that's like saying brushing your teeth is a hobby

I can enjoy most dives, but I guess drift is pretty fun.

It is as much part of my life as shitting or brushing my teeth, I agree, but I like doing it and seeing myself progress like with my other hobbies is one of the best feelings in the world. It is a good form of stress relief too.
