yes? it literally was a way to watch good movies, the fuck are you trying to say?

What a fucking zoomer. Nothing brought a good movie to a satisfying end like rewinding the VHS on your Chevy styled VHS rewinder.

>he didn't rewind his dvd's
i bet your local video store hated you

DVDs actually look nice on those fancy HDTVs with upscalers and motion interpolation

> unskippable warnings and commercials
> region locking
into the trash it goes

>motion interpolation
no

What a zoomer
vhs was the peak

>vhs
discovision*

gen z. they are modern day boomers, hence the phrase zoomer.

>I watch movies

Peak of what? Shitty analog technology?

analog is shit
digital is good
grey_wojak.jpg

>digital bad
>random shit from your electrical network causing signal distortions good
>low-resolution good

analog theater good
analog home theater bad

>old shit technology good

>new shit technology good

>mfw modern cases have no 5.25in slave bays

t. contrarian zoomer retard

Fuck off, underage hipster faggot. Nobody cares about your faux nostalgia.

Are you all fucking retarded or something? Did you forget buying a DVD from Cockbuster and its scratched to hell? Old DVD's that stutter all over the fucking place? Why is it that everything old = good and everything new = bad? Certain old technologies ARE better than new technologies but it is NOT the case for this.

that pic looks comfy af
>anyone else get a funny feeling from looking at a crt for too long?

how old are you op?

> unskippaple ads in the beginning
Yea, right

All DVD had going for it was progressive scan (not interlacing) and recording VHS to DVD, then backing it up digitally.

Yeah, that's all.

All Blu-Ray had going for it was a higher bit rate.

The real problen is streaming. You can't stream 50GB dual layer Blu-Ray bit rate, without serious power draw, end of story. Bandwidth is ruining the world's resources.

DVDs are good when you want a legal copy of something that isn't botnet.
