Almost, but not quite. I absolutely 100% agree with you, but I bought the parts for my dad who won't be doing any crazy gaming anyways, so it should be alright.

RX470 is same price and often cheaper while beating the 1050ti handily.

What's wrong with it? It's a good card for low-mid 1080p performance, or high mid if you don't play current AAA games.

I'm an AMDrone and that's why I'm saying an Nvidia card is good. Sure...

There are better deals sure, but then the electric bill comes and you lose everything you saved and more.

OH and that's not to say the 2080ti isn't more performance per watt. It might be, I haven't looked. But it's still not as good a choice if you want to play at 1080p. It's a high end card for high end tasks, and you'll pay more for the card itself and more total in the power bill.
