I'm using the ZA11 for about a year now, it's fine and has no signs of mechanical wear (color starts to rub off on the side) but it's quite expensive. The only other downside is the surface, which gets kind of sweaty if I'm playing for too long.
CoolerMaster MasterMouse L It has some weight to it which I definitely appreciate. It's rather big and fills my hand and it's all in all a pretty comfy mouse.
If my hand is already somewhat dirty (not visible, just not freshly washed) and I touch it it feels wet after a minute. If I take the hand off everything feels completly normal, no layer of sweat on my palm or something.

But Zowie mice comes in either glossy or rubberized surfaces, and the rubberized surface has been changed for different generations.

What the hell are you doing with your mice? Pic related, my 4 year old FK1 taken with 6 year old galaxy S3, check EXIF
If you mean the color that's coming off, it's because my mouse is white
Henry Foster
I use that gay nipple that comes with those black gay laptops.
Jayden Rodriguez
ah so it's kinda painted on or something? does the surface feel different in the places of wear? If that's the case, I will avoid white ones in the future

Zalman ZM-M600R. Low latency. 1000 Hz. Cheap. Unfortunately had angle snap that I had to use a Windows VM to disable with their tweak tool. I think that was also needed to pacify some LED lighting.
Chase Price
I'm a fucking retard, it wasn't paint, it was dirt. It's clean now
lmao enjoy your new mouse. use alcohol to clean it like every week or so. Also if scroll is giving you problems just disassemble it and clean under it. You can reuse old feet if you're careful but it's better to buy new ones like every year, they are around $8 back in the days of epik raids and doxxing Jow Forums didn't strip the data from photos want me to preload a photo to some sharing site or maybe /p/ works? faggot

use logitech shit cuz its cheap and they have good warranty, with decent build quality, clicks, wheels etc RGGay is easily disabled in logitech software which i then uninstall. I have to admit though, the shapes of the zowie mice with their simple designs from the old microsoft mice are very appealing, but I'm constantly annoyed by my ec2-a's clicks and terrible scroll wheel.
Thanks user. My old logitech g400s feet got bad after quite some time so I just used tape to fix it. Sadly planned obsolescens broke the cable after 2 more months anyway
Josiah Smith
You can buy cable on ebay for like $5 or so. I had a spare cable but connector were "mirrored" I posted about this a few month ago and Jow Forums told me how to easily refit them myself. so now I have my original g400 working again

no surface issues on my EC 2A

Do these mice need extra software to function properly or are they effective as soon as you plug them in?
John Price
What in particular? All mice will function when plugged in Logitech mice will automatically have LEDs on and several pre-defined DPI steps. To disable/change them you need the logitech software, although this only needs to be run once and then you can disable/remove the logitech software and the mouse will retain the last settings. Zowie mice have no software at all, so DPI steps cannot be individually configured, and on the mice with LEDs (EC2-a) the LED can't be disabled.
Angel Cook
Wew good to know. I still have it flying around somewhere, so I'm definitely going to fix it when my zowie breaks
Generally, the more flashy lights and the more buttons there are, the more likely it is that you can use extra software to configurate them Zowie is hold some buttons down and plug in configuration, logitech needs extra software if you want to customize dpi and I'm not sure about razer but I wouldn't be surprised if they ask you to download something right from the beginning so you can use at all

logitech m100 >he spends over $50 for a little piece of plastic
Dominic Brown
G305 modded w hyperglides, weighs like 78grams and it’s wireless.
>Razer Lmao nope, probably for over half a decade now you've needed an account so they can """save your config to the cloud"""
Benjamin Long
I liked the original logo more though
Nolan Torres
I had a yellow label FK, it was fine but it had the latency problem and the coating peeled all over. White logos were the last ones before they switched to the new scroll wheels, too. Best revision imo.

>he spends money on natural protein structures >he spends money on water which is flying through the air for free >he spends money to look at photons emitting from his screen >he spends money on plastic and metal constructs that turn off and on in a rapid manner lmaoing@urlife
interesting, I guess I'll cherish it even more now. dunno how being consumed by benq affected the quality of newer mice
Evan Campbell
What issue? I've had my ZA for more than 2 years now, surface looks brand new.
Asher Baker
you guys that come in here and post ya mouse like its some luxury item you are proud of is sad as fuck Zowie and Logitech are literally just as trash as any other modern brand they are all = as shit. the best most well made mice where made from like 2001-2007 or some thing
I've been using a FK1 for years but went back to the G400S as I find the shape much better even for claw grip. Will the MX518 re-release ever come to NA?
Asus gladis. Removable cable No-solder omron switches

I don't think Logitech will (ever) release the MX518 Legendary outside of Asia because it doesn't fit in their current line-up. It has their best sensor, so they can't make it cheap, but they also can't price it like the G502 because it looks like ass to normies. It's not recognized by zoomers and it would need a fuckton of RGB and shit to sell anyway.
Anyway I bough this off Aliexpress from a seller called Majortech. It'll take a while to arrive but there's nothing to worry about.
I killed my $150 Logitech MX master a year ago and use a $30 Rapoo MT750 since then.
Don't click away, check this out. Seriously.
Laser, bluetooth, 2.4G, rechargeable, detachable usb cable, connects up to 4 devices, charge lasts 4 weeks, feels incredibly comfy, good materials, 8 programmable buttons, 20 meters (65ft) range, 600-3200 dpi, identical feel as the MX master (a bit lighter tho)
this but the new one they just released that you can only import right now if you're in us/eu with a custom light cable absolute dream, had the logitech g pro wireless before this but this shape is just too good
