I once made the mistake (when I was 16) of canceling a paypal dispute with a chinese company. Never again, learned my lesson.

I had to bug them for nearly 2 months to get my 5$ back. Jokes on them, though, because after that I reclaimed my account out of spite.

Since I have already proven that the seller sent my item to either the wrong address (unlikely), or gave me a fake number (very likely since they were asking me to cancel the order in the first place with "other" reason, mainly cause I think they did not want to sell the stone for the price they listed in the first), both parties have received the proposal from aliexpress, I have accepted the refund proposal and now they are waiting for the sellers response. The seller can either accept or reject it but since the case against him has been proven aliexpress will most likely just ignore him and send me a refund.
Also note, I managed to get the seller to admit in the chat that the package was sent to the wrong address which turned out to be a big help as well in building the case against him, always remember to be polite but firm and try to get them to admit their wrong doing as it will help you later on when disputing since you can post proof which they themselves can verify with the logs.
Try to keep in mind that the dispute officers probably go through thousands of disputes and thus your case will go way easier if you can present your information in a simple and easy to digest manner.
