>slightly damp
user, we're not Dell tech support, you don't need to lie to us
was it a garden hose?

kek

>Slightly damp
>Paper towel
>To clean a monitor
Next time use alcohol and a microfiber cloth dumbass.

>slightly damp
Just let it dry out.
It will leave a watermark though

>What do I do?
Remove the battery immediatelly and dont power it on.

Take it to service center and pay for the screen replacement as well as other water damage repars.

If you continue using it without pro cleaning the insides will corrode and it will die entirely.

you better put that shit into a bowl of rice

Actually i uded a generously wet cloth on monitors my entire life and nothing never happened to me.

I thought this kind of shit was an excessive precaution until I saw this thread.

I've used damp paper towels to remove the AG coating from monitors, nothing like this ever happened to me or to anyone else whose done the same 'procedure'
of course, those weren't touch screens, still you'd have to basically pour water on your monitor for this to happen
you're dumb

Stop blowing loads to traps on the display, get some paper towels.
