Here’s what I got from reading this book, Google is going to fail because AI with consciousness is not possible it’s not what principle of algorithm can have. AI can’t have learning curve of element of surprise even with the help of big data analyse, it can only learn element of surprise by an outside oracle that can update it to behave that way and adapte but that is still an algorithm not consciousness. Silicon Valley are in delusional state the stock market has reached the end of level 6 in Hyper-wave theory, when people finally realise that AI with consciousness is impossible to have every major Silicon Valley company will fail.

This is true. Emulating even basic neural networks on today's computer hardware is insanely inefficient. The only way it's going to work is if we engineer hardware similar to what a human brain looks like, with synapses and blood and neurotransmitters. At that point, it's easier to just genetically modify humans. That's the way I think we'll end up going.

you realise consciousness is one of the least attractive things about AI? it's interesting, sure, but consciousness is what makes humans shit at the tasks that AI is designed to solve. it's why we can't have slaves. the second we give AI consciousness and genuine personality is the second it becomes useless. AI's success is not in any way predicated on attaining consciousness.
