Waste of money desu

Asus just released one at the end of last year too, with HDR support.

I know them feels, i really wanted a 28 inch panel but the are all TN so im stuck with a 27
The extra inch mattered mentally

Still using my Samsung 245BW.

Mind blown.

Panels like the XB271HU are good enough, lads. Especially compared to TN trash. 27" 1440p is ideal, my current one is a U2312HM and it feels a little small and the gaymes can benefit from a bigger screen and higher res.

Sorry too late.
I love 1620p ultrawides now.

>>CCFL backlight, no blue light eye cancer
What, CCFL *is* the blue light cancer. LEDs emit far less of it.
That's why CCFL is used for synthetic day/night cycle to this day.

CCFL only emits blue light when specifically designed to, as it depends on the phosphor coating of the tube. Monitor tubes are generally designed to output equal amounts of light across the spectrum.
Bright LEDs will always emit blue light, as the brightest dies emit blue light which is then converted to white with a shitload of residual blue using a phosphor layer in front.

I wear anti blue light prescription specs, does that help or is it a meme? I definitely don't get watery eyes anymore when I crank up contrast during gayming and movies.

this is the bad boy you want

does a 16:10 oled/amoled even exist

>costs 2k
it's nice to want things

I'm sure they do but, they're going to be for high-end professional imaging applications like medical displays and cost thousands.

I have a discontinued 24" Dell 16:10 IPS monitor which i love and seriously if it dies i don't know what the fuck to do. 16:10 monitors don't exist over here and importing one is fucking expensive.
After going 16:10 16:9 is straight unusable.

yes goy

16:10 with freesync when?

Asus PA24AC has adaptive sync support but the range is pretty meh, at 48 to 60Hz.

>16:10
muh golden ratio pseudoscience

Why is every appealing monitor only in 2k? The Pixio PX277h is literally everything I want in a monitor but I dont give a fuck about 2k I just want 1080p.
Are there ANY similar monitors (IPS with literally no backlight bleed, my current lg 3440x1440 has extreme bleed through) 144hz HDR at 1080p?

>down syndrome

cuz 1080p is for niggers

what do girls think of men doing that face?

Using two U2415 and two U2412. Waiting for 16:10 4k equivalent.

Nec is top tiered if they only made multiscan crts still ...

3:2 is actually closest to the golden ratio
Which means that for an ultra wide a 3:1 ratio would be tight as fuck.

once I showed my sister the onions meme, she literally said "stop get it away"

Newer models are available.

The golden ratio is ~1.618
16:10 is 1.6
3:2 is 1.5
user, please

The link came straight from google.

Lgs new 17 inch laptop is 16:10. I almost came when i saw it.

Go for higher resolution 16:9. 2560x1440 is in no way worse than 1920x1200.

Asus' new StudioBook S is also 16:10. Main problem is they are still using 1920x1200, when the Macbook 13 has a higher resolution 2560x1600 display. Same with the new Lenovo ThinkVision P44W with 3840x1200, 2 1920x1200p monitors stuck together.

Like these are the lowest density pixels per inch LEDs they are using to make these panels and they are cheaping out slightly less with giving more height real estate. Where are my 3840x2400 displays?

bump

LG is 2560x1600

These dudes are probably advertising their dentists. Yes, must be it.

will be totally overpriced lcd shit

best resolution out there

what is the best all-rounder with that format

I got mine for $120 on Ebay

>ThinkVision P44W
Holy shit, thanks user for showing me my dream monitor. If I was a richfag I'd buy this ASAP right away!

>60hz
into the trash it goes

3000x2000 master race

Dell Ultrasharps are pretty cheap refurb.
16:10, IPS and color calibrated.

>discontinued dell 16:10
I have one too. The 3007WFP-HC.

16:9 or 21:9 is fine as long as it has enough vertical pixels. 1440 minimum.

>1200 vertical pixels
Is it 2005?

>24"
>1920x1200
>IPS
Nope, guess I'll stick to my 305t for another 3-5 years or so.

samsung galaxy tab s4 is 16:10

>buying anything used
enjoy your cumstained monitors

>subtle brag

It's nothing to brag about in 2019. Iiyama LE4041UHS, which is superiour in every aspect, costs around $500 these days.
