considering my partner is the one who bought us the moisture collectors when we first moved in due to an inadequate HRV system in this house, i doubt it. Also, daily hygenic routines are pretty dandy to prevent offending odours. We also clean frequently due to pets. nice attempt, though. 0/10

How do you guys light your rooms so well, what kinda lights? Photos I take are always grainy as hell, even with the curtains open.

no me and my girlfriend use scented wax heaters and scented carpet talcs. cant use incense as she is allergic, and essential oil burners are gay and kill animals used in their viscinity.

i got two lamps and an LED strip behind my monitor, as well as an overhead light if needed. I dont use strong lighting in the evenings to lessen eye strain

Guess it's time to invest in some modern desk lamps, not so sure about LED strips but if the lamps aren't good enough maybe. Assuming you use 6500k lights in the room?

honestly no idea i never checked - one is a 'U' shaped florescent bulb, and the other lamp uses rather small halogen bulbs with two settings. the room isnt very big but ive set things up to be less light absorbing and more light reflecting. but i would avoid incandescents and get some nice LED lamps, and LED strips can light a room rather well, depending on the application.

Going off the pictures in these kinda threads, I figure they're in the range of 5000k-6500k lighting. And yeah, I'd definitely opt for LED as the power savings are alone are enough to make that worthwhile, not to mention halogen bulbs are going to be banned soon enough. Guess I'll have to experiment a bit with bulbs and see if the staff at the hardware store know a thing or two about lighting.

no i wash daily, and besides a bit of stick deodorant, dont really wear cologne or body spray unless going into social settings. I had a roommate years ago that was very much a 'twice a month if lucky' showering-habit kinda guy. lets just say he was kicked out after repeated pleas to wash up. He lived by the 'Axe=shower in a can' mentality. then again, most family members of his i met smelled either of piss or other BO. the whole experience actually made me rather self conscious after even washing the place down didnt get rid of the stink. had to resport to getting a friend who is a car detailer to give me a 'scent bomb' they use at his job for cars that had lingering scents after mishaps with sour milk or the like in a vehicle. taped the door seals shut after starting off the thing (water activated tablet in a tray, basically), and let it go for a good day, then unsealed the room. smelled a bit artificial, but better than 'Ball Cheese Brian' as one roommate referred to him as.
