What is up with all these pajeets giving out horrible tech tips today.

There's no "best", but if you mean for Windows, you can very well just use the Windows Defender, your PC is already under full control of M$ so you're better off just using another of their applications than installing some 3rd party botnet spyware.

Leenox

gnu/linux

avast

I've been using Windows since 1997, have never once used antivirus, and have never once had a virus.

>installing 3rd party botnet
Avast isn't in any way better than Windows Defender and the only thing you get by using it is giving yet another company access to everything on your computer.

Not being retarded.

i'm a linux user, don't know what an antivirus is.

mcafee

This is the real answer.
Common sense is your first line of defense. After that, don't be a retard and spend the few bucks a year for a quality antivirus program.

ClamWin

ill roll dubs for truth

malwarebytes is not a real antivirus you faggots. it's an ad cleaner.

kaspersky and eset are the only antiviruses.

Shiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeet, checked

Kaspersky, Emsisoft or ESET (or BitDefender I guess but I've always found it buggy)
Contrary to popular belief Windows Defender is actually more performance intensive than 3rd-party AVs
