No, they are not.

Unironically, but keyboard on 2014 MacBooks is OK.
But butterfly shit deserves death.

Based.
But Airs are anything but cool. 95°C at full load with throttling isn't cool.

Can somone post mine badly drilled macbook air?

Thanks m8.
Btw, it still throttles (if outside temp is above 25 °C), but not below base frequency.

>it still throttles
Please write that and post pics.

Dunno, maybe this will fix it, since TIM is stock cum.

2400 Mhz @ 94°C

50% CPU usage

This must be why the new Macbook Air's have fans.

Can turbo above 2500 Mhz.
Base freq 1400 Mhz
Stock 'turbo' freq: 800 Mhz
This is all in dual-core 20W CPU-let.

I guess I need to change thermal cum for better results

My air has proper heat pipe and fan, still runs too hot.
New one doesn't even have a heat pipe.

>not Macintoddlers

Should I replace thermal cum with car oil?
(I'm too lazy to buy proper paste)

And what is better for TIM: used car oil, or new?

show us your latest renders, autist.

Too lazy to click a couple of times and wait for it to drop through the mailbox?
I would much rather do that than make a mess with car oil, I'm not even sure it would stay in place, wouldn't it seep out when it heats up?

How do you close it?

I've been using the same MBA daily since 2014 and haven't had a single problem.

I take it with me when I go camping at the beach or the desert, if it was a shitty windows laptop it would have been fucked a long time ago.

New. Without particles of dirt and products of oxidation.

I will use cheap mineral 20W-50 oil.
Nice shit for lubricating doors...
Yeah, since I have a canister of oil.

Oil applied

Well... Same shit, which makes sense, since engine oil has similar thermal conductivity as silicone thermal grease.
Except it is less messy, spreads better, and cheaper.

Their form factor was pretty cool, they looked pretty, yes. But honestly, between the limited memory and the fact they tweaked it ti hell and back to get the battery life, you got atom-netbook like performance. The keyboard is hot trash, and the SSD was just a few steps above using a fatty SD card as your primary drive.
