Come to think of it, ninite doesn't even exist for Linux. What do you guys use to quickly install programs on your system? A trillion terminal commands?
How does it compare to Qbit?
There is like no reason to install drivers yourself unless windows update flat out didn’t have one for a piece of hardware
What? You can just put all the packages you want to install in one command... sudo pacman -S install firefox blender clementine xonotic 0ad etc.
Oops, changed apt to pacman and forgot install. -S already means install.
7zip
Notepad++
WPD shit to uncuck my system wpd.app
First I enroll it into a domain. Then I give all my privileges to the domein administrator and turn myself into a user that cant even install programs.
Then the administrator installs Teamviewer, disables Windows firewall, installs Google Chrome, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Office 365. Then he sats up my cloud, puts all my files into the cloud, that's how I know they're secure and I can always find them. (OwnCloud, Dropbox and Google Drive so I know I'm triple safe). Then to make sure my data is safe he installs some Antivirus from the internet that Ive never heard of before.
they're already there. tbqh i actually have to get rid of some programs, not install

Sorry user, I wouldn't know.
Install Gentoo.
The way I see it is if windows update didn’t serve the latest driver for something it’s for a good reason and it’s not like you will really see a difference anyway except for GPU drivers but even then unless there is some new AAA shit you want to play it doesn’t matter

Chocolatey, then it installs my base applications.
A few are missing though.
what is chocolatey? How does it work? How is it better than installing shit manually?
>what is chocolatey?
Think package manager for Windows.
>How is it better than installing shit manually?
Well, I press a button and it installs/updates all my programs at once instead of me having to manually hunt, download and install every single one of them.
It's extremely comfy.

Redpill me on Open Office
My engineering softwares, Matlab, CAD.
dude, use LibreOffice (OOo fork) it has infinitely more features, bug fixes, developers, support and momentum behind it.
It's free, its widely supporting all kinds of different document formats ....
Gentoo
When ith was for me, i would be totally fine with much less options.
For me Office 97 was the epitome of Office programs.
I despise more and more irritating features that just clusterfuck a program up.
I used openoffice for so long before I realized I could get a Microsoft office 365 subscription for free through my uni

i know kovaak and used to play QW and Reflex with him. i have alpha code for that aim trainer before he put it on steam. its really good.
you use obs studio for streaming probably?
anyway fuck you. but kovaak is alright man.
>What do you guys use to quickly install programs on your system?
askubuntu.com
Usually use copyhandler as it works in the background (replacing win copy api like teracopy does) & doesn't look like babby's first interface.
no I don't stream it's for recording
And yes, I am really impressed with Kovaak's release
All you fuckers saying NINITE, how NPC are you? I just looked this piece of shit up and the software library is simply fucking pathetic, it's got less packages than any linux distro i've ever used, and only 3 (THREE) choices of browser, One (ONE) torrent client, includes dogshit like skype and discord, etc? how can anyone use this unironically? I suppose it's better than NO package manager, like wangblows naturally is, but it's so fucking bad, and on top of that, it's freemium, not even free.
>xonotic

what exactly are motherboard drivers?
Ive built many pcs but never install any of the countless drivers you find on the support pages and I've never had any problems.
there a point in using winrar anymore?
Fuck no, get 7zip. Much faster, and much better designed.
can you at least make the windows associated file icons look better than the default boring 7zip ones?
Yeah, but you'd have to replace icons. Honestly, I'd just leave it boring, but that's up to you.

Whats wrong with mpc?
I had to grab the trial version just the other day actually, so that I could view the password set on some VN I downloaded.
Because this faggot uploader couldn't have just listed the password on their site or left it open to begin with like anyone else would.
