Is there lot of things you CAN NOT do with Windows XP?
Lets rule out internet use to get the most obvious obstacles out of the way. Then also security problems will be irrelevant as you are not in a network.
How well, compared to Linux, you think Windows XP 32-bit will do with using 16-bit to 32-bit softwares for creativity, like making animation (pixel animation mainly but 3D stuff is also possible), music (XP has great MIDI support, also some really good soundcards with unbelieveably good DACs will work in XP fine) actually you can also play many PC games ranging from 1996s to 2009s, probably not later releases though.
I dont see that there is any offline activity that you cannot do with WinXP, there usually is a software to be found for any use case.
