Not gonna lie, former Buzzfeed employee here. I know this is fucking hilarious watching us crash and burn. But in all seriousness I came here to learn how to code.

Tell Bernstein to go fuck himself.

What's BuzzFeed? Is it a Loli site?
Cause if not, no one here gives a fuck.
Faggot!

Meanwhile, use linux and learn bash.
If you want a job make projects (and not just shitty websites) to present.
From there you will have an idea of what to do next.

Serious answer: see if there's a 101 class at your local community college that you could just enroll in, or even one of those bootcamp programs. Having a teacher really helps when you're learning your first programming language. Once you know one, it's easier to pick up more on your own.

Also, programming can take years to really master. Between when I first thought I knew how to program, and when I was actually good at it, was probably a span of about 6 years. So you won't really be good at it at first, and you'll need to cut your teeth on something. If you can find someone who will pay you to cut your teeth, go for it.
