before you execute it. Also, if it's on a different drive, then you have to put /d after the cd.

If you're just trying to run the exe, all you have to do is ad it to your system path in environmental variables. Then it doesn't give a fuck what directory it's in.

You don't have to be in c:\youtube-dl to run it. If it is in your environmental variables, you can run the "youtube-dl" command from anywhere.

You can use O&O after the fact. Privacy pretty much amounts to turning off every setting that they show you during setup. Performance amounts to turning off defender and automatic update, since those use like 90% of win10 resources. Pro is limited, but you get like no control over anything in home. And 10 is pretty resilient against hacks. Even if you manage to mod in something you wouldn't normally be able to do, it'll just revert back after the next major update, and probably be patched out too.

It's pretty good at what it does, but it has to work within the confines of modern windows. Compared to what you could tweak back in win 7/8 days, 10 is much less malleable. MS has a very specific way they want you to use their OS, and they work their asses off to enforce it.

Freshly installed Linux. I installed the proprietary Java from Oracle to /usr/local/jre1.8.0_201. To get it into the PATH I appended /usr/local/jre1.8.0_201/bin to /etc/environment. Is this enough? Open Shell seems to usually survive updates. I'm guessing that any changes made through a powershell script wouldn't, although the version of windows shouldn't matter for that.

Enterprise settings are more powerful than what O&O can do. MSMG lets you step outside of what windows will let you do period, but it's a pain in the ass to implement and keep up to date. Hell, even LTSC is more trouble than it's worth. I'd just go with regular enterprise and change what you want in Group Policy.

Hey guys, I'm trying to install network drivers a lenovo v110-15iap running windows 7, notice they don't support windows 7 drivers in their official webpage, only windows 10 drivers. So far I only managed to install the usb 3.0 drivers.

So I tried automatic driver finders such as "Driver talent" and it did installed the correct drivers, it's called Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter which match the specifications.

However windows says my wireless is turned off and I can't turn it on.

He's a console gamer, but he just wants something that can play League of Legends and asked if he could do it on a $300 laptop.
