Don't forget your daily dose of sennheiser remorse and butthurt friends!
Imagine being this butthurt over a brand of headphones.
LMAO @ ur life.
Need a budget open-back headphone.
a well rounded one that doesn't sound too high preferrably.
Imagine this level of projection from the guys who created the original infographics

are the koss porta pros a meme?
the best kind of meme
They are great, but if you're one of the audiofool status seeking bass haters the KSC75 will be the better Koss for you.
Ah... another happy owner of a nice and cheap pair of top-class headphones.
Sennheiser needs to hurry up and make a headphone with HD600's sound signature and HD800's soundstage. That will be the true end game.
Sennheiser isn't as retarded as the 600 posters here, they know you can't sell that garbage sound signature for $1600
Something exists that fits those criteria, but you won't like what it is.
I'm not saying my HD600's are the best... But i really don't see what those mongoloids did to snap the headband...... I'm not even very gentle /cautious with the things i own and i don't see them "snapping" any time.
Just my 2 cents.
Unlike the HD600 the HD800 actually has non-muddy treble so no thanks
yeah its a waste of money
buy ksc75 if you are a poorfag and save up for a hd600
>saving up for something that barely sounds any better
>save up for a hd600
Another customer for the town of nobass, who has a good reason for hating the portabro, being incompatible with our little town. Welcome! we serve mudbeers and sourgrapes to soothe your journey's preparations as climbing Mt Screech is akin to piercing one's eardrums and getting to veiled valley doesn't get you the wonders and promises but only disappointment and self hatred!

Is it right that:
Amp = make volume higher
DAC = Cleaner audio, making least distortion
I can hear my sennheiser nice and loud, but should I just in case get a DAC? My motherboard is quite old Z97-A. Pic related is my Motherboards Amp/DAC.
>data from rtings
...is based
if your dac caused any issue you would know. Forget about changing shit. Just buy better headphones.
>I can hear my headphones nice and loud
>still wants to buy dac and amp
literally why
HD600 GOOD
you cant call yourself an audiophile without owning a hd600
this is fact
*budgectivist
why would a self proclaimed audiophile waste money on Mt Screech?
Maybe it sounds a bit muddy
like what?
Will Miku be the queen after the season is over or are you going back to Maki?
to be able to talk about the one golden reference
Mt Screech isn’t gold, it’s brown like mud.
That's becos you own hd600, it always sounds muddy
isnt the h600 supposed to sound detailed and clear like other people have said?
To be exact, Mt screech is when you hear the side noises made by hitting the chords on stuff like electric guitars almost as much as the actual music produced by the guitar mics and amp.
I honestly do not understand how someone can be a metal fan like metal731 and actually use a HD600. no, electric guitars are not supposed to sound like what comes out of a HD600, I know, I've played guitars, on actual guitar amps.
most hd600 owners are weebs they only care about how their favorite loli cv sounds like
it's all kind of contradicting things
at least in the opinions of people who never heard it
other people like who, the people who have only heard midfi trash to compare it to?
people who have heard it and heard hifi headphones unanimously agree that the HD600 is mudtown
>HD600
>muddy
bruh are you in your 50s
>this whippersnapper thinks he has golden ears
The best headphones for various metal genres are neutral one. I'm talking about actual metal genres. Not this trash today like math rock.
the best headphones for each and every genre are neutral ones
guessing the muddy sound comes from the lack of treble?
so what's all the "screech" anectodes about then
lack of treble and bass, hence A shaped headphones
screechy upper mids
so it's screechy but muddy but has neither bass nor treble and is dark but light on bass
how does that even work
Looking for a new headset

I like comfort, but I won't be wearing these for hours at a time for the most part, so I can make a sacrifice here if needs be.
>Sound signature
Not exactly sure what I want here, should probably just go with neutral, assuming that's best for listening to music.
It sounds like shit so people get confused as to how to describe it.
no one calls the HD600 dark. it’s muddy due to a lack of bass and treble and screechy due to overwhelming mids.
oh, I thought veiled was implying dark
so I guess it's all just a firework of buzzwords and the only thing that helps is listening for myself?
veiled refers to the same thing as muddy, notreble nobass
you can go listen to it yourself but don’t be surprised if it sounds horrible after comparison to any other headphone
Just got my DT770 and they're fucking ear-sex.
On the list of things that I want to sandwich my head, this is up there next to japanese girl's thighs.
nooooooooo stop enjoying headphones right the fuck now
imo I'm fine with the bass, its the lack of treble from my expereience with them. Its just not clear enough and need more of it
this
they're gonna crack at the hinges and you got the wrong impedance
also they got no mids and unbearable treble spike
r-right, guys?
I'm getting the 880 for that semi opened back
if i get op again ima probably have a piss edit as op

If you want a purely headache inducing task that only gives satisfaction in the abstract then Stax is perfect for that. Have fun telling retards that your antiquated amp tech is somehow better. Bonus points if you write a blog post about the benefits of an analog pot over digital volume control using precision resistors.
See if you own stax you can make people this mad they can't afford them. Who wouldn't want to own stax?
Daily reminder not to fall for the STAX shilling.
STAX is an old company that had outdated shitty sounding headphone tech that was considered high end back in the 1960s and 1970s but sounds like ass by today's standards, then they were purchased by a Chinese company who decided to market STAX to the audiophool "more expensive is better" demographic who buys those crappy $3000 audio cables that don't sound any better than cheap $20 ones.

K, bud. Think I'm going to pick up the new Benchmark amp soon also. All relevant reviews seem favorable and they already answered the questions I had.
>Think I'm going to pick up the new Benchmark amp soon also
LOL
>its this butthurt retard again
Maybe in 30 years Stax may offer an amp worth a fuck.
they offer plenty of good amps, too bad your headphones are too shit to use them with
>he bought a $1000 amp
literally $3000 cables audiophool tier
enjoy the sound of your amp user ;)
>good amps
That's why the "true" fans still wait months for some guy in Poland to slap together an amp and pay $8000 for it? Stax amps only just came with a remote and it's on the $5000 one. They are a joke at best.

Nice shitposting.
Someone convince me not to buy Fidelio X2's for $250 within the next few hours or im gonna do it
Why do people buy $1000 DACs that don't make a difference? Because they're retarded lmfao
Compare to STAX (lol)
