>Not loving and appreciating Ryzen products for making computing competitive and affordable

Post your LOVE for your Ryzen product here and remember, anybody who hates Ryzen also hates competition and wants to be enslaved by a global monopoly.

You don't have to use Ryzen to appreciate the competition it brings to the market. Only a shill or cuck would want Ryzen and AMD to die, leaving Intel to gouge us all.

Remember to tell anybody who trolls this thread to fuck off and go suck Intel's cock.

You're the only one who gets paid to worship AMD op.

thanks for the bump

>Pick up a Ryzen 7 2700 for $220
>MFW a whole $100 cheaper than an X version
>Ni/g/lets claim you can't overclock a Ryzen chip with the stock cooler
>mfw I do 3.8 ghz at only 1.2 volts and don't even have to touch the fan curve
>14% faster than stock now with plenty of more room to increase
>mfw I got 90% of the 2700x performance for 69% of the cost
>can finally into 4k video editing
>notice a pretty significant bump in fps in my gaymes as well

All in all it was a pretty good purchase.

It wasn't bumped.

based thread

Fuck off op.

prove I'm OP

Im not op

Prove that you didn't just suck migrant cock.

wait, are you the same ipajeet that I embarrassed in the other thread that run away?

>inigger
No, and you probably weren't as awesome as you think you were, you big gay migrant dick sucking twitch faggot.

lol you got him mad as fuck now, user

haha, there's like a 90% chance you're that exact person. there's a 100% chance you're as stupid though

Is this why op stopped using her fat brown fingers to type a post?

ITS THE SAME DUDE HAHAHAHA

>haha, there's like a 90% chance you're that exact person. there's a 100% chance you're as stupid though
Small world. What are the odds that a loser like you finds that one colored person that you're capable of btfo-ing not once, but twice in your lifetime.

Imagine being this delusional.
Link thread please. I'd like to witness if you really did btfo someone, or if you're just a homo suffering from delusions of grandeur.

Are you an esl from Jow Forums?

did I just get fucked on the silicon lottery? im newer to OC'ing my ryzen 2700 but everytime I do it through my bios I end up crashing , wanna post your specifics?

Are you really that legendary user who hast defeated an Indian with mere posts?
Huzzahhh. I've read legends about your campaign in a nother thread.
Man I thought that it 'twas a myth!

I did it in Ryzen Master, what else do yo want to know?
>MSI B450 Tomahawk
>24GB 2133
>Stock cooler
>win10

Maybe I just got lucky with my chip, I dunno. It's the first AMD chip I've ever had and the first OC I've ever done.

Temps?

Still shit IPC. I had a 2500k at 4.6Ghz and would do better than ryzen for my workloads. Recently got a 9600k and have it at 5.2ghz, this is a dream as it's insanely fast

I have the 1700 and 2700x. The 1700 is a great chip, fast for every day tasks and adequately good at gaming but my 2700x is on a different level. More in line with what intel is putting out.

You can't expect the 1st gen product to be solid

If you have an Asus board and you adjust multiplier, it automaticly raises the Vcore. which is fucking retarded.

Just use Ryzen master instead bruh.

2500k is shit.

9600k is ok tho. But the IPC meme needs to die. at 1440p gayms, the difference between a 2700x and a 8700k isnt that huge.

IPC is a theoretical ideal, not a measurable metric. It comes from the world of processor design, not software design. In order to hit theoretical IPC, certain assumptions have to be made: perfectly parallel (not concurrent) code, perfect optimization, perfect scheduling, perfect branch prediction, infinite RAM, infinite cache space with 0 misses, 0 latency cache access, etc. None of those assumptions ever holds true.

i bought a PC with a Ryzen 7 a couple years ago and immedietly wiped windows 10 off it and started a Slackware install on it, and nope slackware with the 4.4 kernel wont boot on it, so i try debian and it works, the reason is Ryzen 7 wont run any Linux with a kernel older than a version 4.9.xx

>2500k is shit
And yet it still performed as well or better than Ryzen for my gaymes.

If you ignore the stutters, sure.

What if you use the exact same code with the same parallelization level, same optimization, same scheduling, same prediction, on two different CPUs? The one with the slightly better IPC should come on top even if the code to test it isn't perfect, differences can appear anyways

>get laptop with ryzen 2500U
>crashes all the time and there are no new drivers
wow thanks Jow Forums

My ryzen laptop updated just fine last week and it only crashed 1 time with the factory drivers, which I updated from the OEM page. No problems after that.

Looking forward zen 2 launch for an upgrade of my 6600k which is starting to show its limits.

>Poorman's Intel

>stutters
?

Had an i5 2500k die on me recently and for the first time I am actually giving AMD a more serious consideration on the cpu side. Not that my 2500k was "bad" but I'm just seeing the good value in them, especially how they come with stock coolers, which is good if initially me trying to save some money I can still use the computer just not overclock it.

No space in my heart for Ryzen, my heart is full of FX.

Has there ever been such a range of chips that launched to derision and little fanfare yet are still workhorsing away eight, nine or even ten years later? And FX performance is actually IMPROVING as more and more applications get better true multicore support.

Wonderful.

why is ryzen cruel to ultrapoorfags Jow Forums?
got a 2400g, b350 mobo, and a bargain bin psu and it always gives me a bsod every time i use a program thats not chrome, even a clean install wouldnt do jack shit
i shouldve gone intel

>got a 2400g, b350 mobo, and a bargain bin psu and it always gives me a bsod every time i use a program thats not chrome, even a clean install wouldnt do jack shit
Maybe you're a retard that doesn't update bios or drivers but that doesn't happen to me on my Ryzen.

What a stupid thread. I don't love or hate my CPU, it's just a CPU. It's just something inside my computer box which does something useful. Don't care. I love Taeyeon

she's so talented and sexy and beautiful. A CPU just can't compare.

>Maybe you're a retard that doesn't update bios or drivers
but i actually did tho

and your minimum frames are terrible

Things aren't that simple. For example one can do one operation on both Intel and AMD but get much better performance for either of those by choosing the right code.

76C was the max when all cores at 100% for rendering, it was about 53C for gaming.

Bought AMD because of Intels disgraceful handling of the Meltdown disaster.

FFS i refuse to buy Intel and Nvidia products based on their actions and prices but this is just cringy. It is a company. They do not care about you.

>It is a company. They do not care about you.
No shit, libcuck. The point is that AMD still improved market by introducing a highly competitive product.

what driver version I am desperate

Don't get me wrong, the performance is still amazing. I can run like 30 applications at once with 0 slowdown on the 1700(no oc) and it still delivers decent performance for gaming. I would compare it to say a 2016 i5 for gaming performance. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.
