Wait, I thought if you set the scaling in windows (and not in the gpu or monitor settings) then properly coded programs would just work at the higher resolution without scaling?

I mean, prior to the flat meme, everything was bitmap based, which looked blurry while scaling
the vector based interfaces (the flat meme) scale perfectly, and it gives rich resolution agnostic content

Another thing I forgot to ask is if that taskbar customization is new by default? How'd you get full size taskbar buttons with program names/titles as well as your internet speed I'm assuming that is.

Yeah, programs using any modern form of Qt, Wx, or GTK scale just fine and they've usually got the benefit of sub-pixel text rendering unlike metro programs.

First version of virtual desktops in w10 was quite useful, but then they've "updated it" with useless shit so it takes 3s to load. For god's sake what's happening at MS?

Not to mention other shit, like how sluggish 10 feels. 7 was snappy, quick and easy to use, almost all the important shit was clearly displayed & labelled. With each new iteration and update they make, it is harder and harder to know what the fuck you are doing.

On 10 for example, if you delete a file on the "select file" window it FUCKING STAYS THERE. And I could list a whole bunch of shit which just screams how poorly made this trash is.

Some how normies didn't touched it because they couldn't allow it after vista
