Speaking of installing Linux. I'm struggling with moving over to a new laptop. Have gotten so far as to copy over the home directory, overwriting the one on the new laptop. Probably shouldn't have done it as root since permissions got screwed (nothing a recursive chown couldn't fix though, but maybe some files there should have been owned by root). Now there's the nightmare of figuring out all the software and repositories I need, etc.
Ugh.

>Install ubuntu (much faster than installing windows) >Install nvidia proprietary drivers + ppa to keep then up to date. >Install steam. >Enable steamplay for all titles >now i can play all native + whitelisted + games that was not even designed to run on linux Enjoy being screwed by a company that should care about their customers at the same time you cheer for their crap.

>Enjoy being screwed by a company that should care about their customers at the same time you cheer for their crap So you're trying so shill for steam or shitting on it? I don't understand.

LMAO. Loonix is for hobbyist losers and autism-sufferers. Microsoft Windows is enterprise-grade software designed by and for professionals. Demand quality. Demand Microsoft.
