Should I off myself?
Should I off myself?
Yes
Those are still decent specs in my opinion, but the RAM is cutting it close. At least for what I would use your computer for.
yes, regardless of what's in that pic
How is an i5 6th gen and a 970 'off yourself'-tier? You even have 500gb of ssd storage (raid 0?). As an user said above maybe you need a RAM uograde, but on a single screen you dont even.
I assume based on this thread you want to uograde, i'd say start off with a new screen (keep the old one for that sweet dual screen setup) then a new RAM kit (dont bother gettinf another 8gb 1066 dimm, sell that and buy a 16gb kit at 3000mhz), then gpu, then cpu. Though in the current climate a good upgrade option for cpu will likely come up (zen 2) before a new GPU.
Yes, for thinking computer specs are something worth killing yourself for.
why didn't you get the k model? Mine is overclocked to 4.4GHz and runs great.

dont kill yourself
but sell that shit and get some good real shit
Get better RAM, at least 16GB then you're good.
I built this computer in 2010. I was 15 years old.
>purchased GTX 950 in summer 2017 for $50 on facebook marketplace
>friend gave me 2x4gb ram sticks that are rated for 1600MHz, he purchased a new PC
>friend gifted me an old SSD after a previous SSD failed (i think it was from sleep mode on win7)
>had to buy a new CPU cooler for $20 at some point but it sucks (chink-made)
I have to play everything at the lowest settings. But I've spent less than $100 on my PC in the past decade.
One question: is my ram really running at 800Mhz or is it 1600Mhz? I know sometimes you multiply by 2 sometimes you don't. I guess I could just check BIOS. I messed with overclocking CPU and GPU but it wasn't really worth. I don't game much anyway. Rarely hit bottlenecks. But I do play PUBG with friends and my computer gets 70-90 FPS on very low settings.
ok google says it's 800x2 (dual data rate) so yea i have 12GB of DDR3 @ 1600Mhz
>yeah I trust google lol
Cringe
you have a nice computer op
so you're telling me DDR doesn't stand for Dual Data Rate?
Imagine thinking that pursuing knowledge is cringe. Imagine saying cringe unironically.
Correct, it stands for deutsche demokratische republik
just spend a few bucks to use a decent machine you coping poorfag you aren't 15 anymore
>that little food bowl with bee on it
i had essentially the same spec before my free RAM upgrade and GPU upgrade.
nothing particularly wrong with it, just a 970 is a bit weak and 8gb of RAM is on the cusp of obsolecense
>windows
most definitely
I know i'll upgrade the cpu
>locked incel cpu
that's a yikes from me
r8 me m8s
MAHOBAY
yes
How can I solve "unknown RAM" problem?
probably stop using OEM ram or stop using mismatched ram
but to be fair I haven't googled your specific hardware problem so... Eh.
Probably, my motherboard might not match RAM.
This is why I don't like a cheap AM4 board
motherboard quality is largely reserved to features and VRM
Your ram problem is probably the fault of your ram, not your mobo, my b350 board displays my ram specs fine.
No OP that's a solid build. If it does what you want, why change it?
Bought my computer parts piece by piece every month after payday, but shit started to heat up after I installed RX570 and 500w power supply, harddisk goes to 60° after playing RE2 remake and I'm afraid things will break down if I just let it be. Should I buy a cooler or can I safely ignore it?
>optical in 2019 lol
>1080 is good choice for 970
>some good rams might not get recognized in speecy, its shit program anyway
wew
dont talk shit
some people dont need top of the line pc, he can play pretty much any game if he doesnt shoot for max settings 60fps
