Last Day

This is my last day using Windows 10. Recommend a new OS for my Windows Machine

Fedora. Even Linus uses it.

Ubuntu is a fine OS, if you don't like any hassle. It just werks.

DOS

ubuntu if u have no idea how to use linux, other than that most are fantastic like manjaro, fedora, debian. those are the big 3

Windows 8.1 should be familiar enough. It;s what I use

Dumb ignorant here, why fedora is considered good?

I use Mint and parrot for my main Linux Machines. How fucked am I?

xubuntu 1804
and get the xfwm 413 ppa

Why this over, say, arch or kali? What is so different about it?

typical windows user

it just werks
it is looks the nicest overall
it's ootb but if you want to anal yourself be my guest
i use arch btw

oh also get the arc gtk theme

arch is very difficult and off putinng for new users and kali is not a desktop distro its for penetration testing

That looks comfy af.

>not a bedroom
>no cumsock
At least he's not a Linux user.

You're fine.

TempleOS

Here's a quick rundown
>normal functioning adult
Debian, Ubuntu LTS, Fedora, Devuan
>only happiness in life is posting in desktop threads
Arch, Manjaro
>incredibly autistic, but in an endearing way
Gentoo, Slackware, Void
>incredibly autistic, in a creepy, unsettling way
Clover, Kali

Win10 LTSC

im trying to get away from Win10

this if you value your time

install gentoo

xubuntu
linux mint
fedora

are all very good choices.

you can also consider:

ubuntu
kubuntu
manjaro (if you'd like a rolling release)
debian stable (if you don't mind really old packages)

unironically this.
if you use an obscure linux distribution or one that is rolling release then you just have too much time on your hands.

I'll also add OpenSUSE Leap to:
>normal functioning adult

what about mint?

Hackintosh if you want to be remotely productive.

Parrot is a really good pen testing distro and the home version a great OS for everyday use.

KDE Neon, has Windows like interface, is easy and customizable.
mint is just a bloated ubuntu

Mint or ArchLabs

SOLUS IS NOT WORTH IT. TF IS "eopkg"??!!!

Manjaro XFCE gives me the be the best experience out of all the GNU/Linux distribution, and I usually used Debian before

I also use i3wm instead of XFCE sometimes

What if Im a developer who need up-to-date libraries to make my softwares? I use Manjaro because I was fucking tired that I had to use old versions of certain libraries when I was on Debian stable, when those versions contained certain bugs and lacked new features.

Fedora.
It has the best team of developers, the closest to an "official" Linux you can get since Debian is dead, and Ubuntu is just Debian with ads trying to be usable. And is based in a distro that is used in a lot of enterprises (Red Hat).
You should not fall for the lightweight desktop software meme, it doesn't mater for battery, it's more important to tune services to not be running in the background and shit like that, USB autosuspension and so on. I get more battery than on windows.
If you start questioning systemd and red hat you will end up with something very autistic that is maintained by amateurs, but you will learn some stuff, to be honest don't bother

>home version
the home version comes with the pen testing tool as well, correct?
