>Install icecat they said >it's the best free (as in freedom) alternative to firefox they said
So I've been running this bullshit for a couple of days now, after spending 2 hours to compile it on my crappy i3 laptop. I've had to disable librejs since it broke each and every site I'd visit, despite me whitelisting the living shit out of it. The searxes' addon is getting on my nerves since I need to do guesswork on every site as to what it should block, the preinstalled adblocker is not configurable, and not even about:config is 100% configured (they have webRTC enabled for fucks sake) Is there any reason at this point to go for this garbage fire?
It's the best freedom respecting browser, but it's also not very good since the web revolves around nonfree js. If you want an ok experience just use brave ungoogled chromium or Firefox and block all requests they make with hosts if you like privacy. All browsers are shit in their own way nowadays, if anyone says otherwise they're shilling or retarded.

Waterfox with noscript / ublock and move on with your life

One week from now. >So i tried waterfox and it sucks. Anons reply telling op to use icecat.
Mason Miller
Firefox is already unstable and broken, why would you think some hacky free fork would be any better?
Eli Ortiz
it is time to stop shilling this shit

>Compile it for 2 hours Literally had it running within minutes, don't know what the fuck you're doing bruh.
Jaxson James
Why? It just werks and is based on pre faggotfox quantum
What specific needs would there be in browsing anime porn?

I was making fun of OP being lazy, and more generally everyone on this board that bitches specifically about MUH BOTNET in Firefox and company when literally every other flagship browser is orders of magnitude more invasive, despite Firefox being completely de-botnet-able, which most definitely isn't something you can say about Chrome or Brave or what have you. If he's so concerned about security that WebRTC gets his panties in a wad, then he should know what's required in order to maintain one's privacy and security, and he should quit whinging and get to work.
