Nothing came up on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

.bash_history
.gmrun_history
I am well aware bash_history is a vulneravility. Mostly because it often has my password in it

>not even having a bash or zsh history
real NPC users right here.

Nothing for me either.
I also use Arch btw.
What's this command meant to show?

you should use
echo ~/.*h?st*

Absolutely nothing.

> .python_history

Evidently it reveals whether or not the user is using egrep by default.

run this instead
ls -a ~ | egrep 'h.?st'
or
ls -a ~ | grep -E 'h.?st'

>not setting ZDOTDIR to some more sensible option
>not intentionally saving shell history to do history string search to make CLI usage faster

why arent you freaks just running:

ls -a | grep history

?

wtf Jow Forums?

oh I have one, the command just doesn't say anything

some files include the string 'hst' instead of 'hist'

The ones dropped by wget for instance.

This is my output. Even stallman-approved is botnet it seems.....

Only one I care about is zsh_history which is empty. But does anyone know how to stop zsh creating this file? everytime I delete it, it recreates it, even though history logging is turned off.
