Wrong. Norway's got a two year warranty on all electronics mandated by law and you've got strong protection in those two years. Sweden has one year mandated by law and it's not very strong. Electronics are significantly cheaper in Norway and it's also more up to date. First time I was in a electronics store in Sweden my first thought was "Do they buy outgoing models from Norway and sell that as new at higher prices?".

You can have stronger consumer protection and have more competition.

Apple's been in some really hot water in Norway, btw. Other countries don't have anywhere near as strong consumer protection and Apple seems to have a lot of global policies which are in direct violation of local law.

Since you mention Blackview: I have one. The cameras on that phone's really bad as in 2010 laptop tier bad. It might as well not have cameras. Further, it's really big compared to the small screen on it and it is quite heavy. Those are the downsides. The upside is that it really is durable, those claims are true. And that .. brings some bad habits, it's not like I'd use any other phone to hammer in a nail without giving that a second thought.

Nothing's guaranteed, that's why it's not labeled as waterproof but as water resistant. I've taken my phone into the shower and everything was fine after doing that a few times, though it is rated IP68.

Talk to your credit card company. Many credit cards offer a +1yr extended warranty that's the equivalent of the squaretrade warranty. Basically if it's a manufacturer defect you can get the money you paid back. Try calling them up, it may need some polite arguing.
