Why would i? Its fucking loud as shit and has huge actuation force

It looks okay otherwise but it's missing the super key for no reason. That thing is useful in many ways.

best I could do is unicomp

No numpad and needs a PS/2 connector?
Nah I think i'll be alright.
Also I like that my board has a volume slider.

Disgusting

Realforce everyday all day

At least for me, I find that I make fewer mistakes on it/Unicomps, between the actuation force and widely spaced keycaps. Typing feels more continuous if that makes sense - you get into a rhythm. In my mind, it's the best keyboard if you want to crank out an essay or story.

>missing the super key for no reason

You do know that IBM predates Microsoft by sixty years right?

Yes, an industrial variant. Not some hipster 10keyless either.

Playstation 2 connector? Sorry my mom bought me the PS4 and my older brother says its not backwards compatible

you now realise that CAPSLOCK
is an anagram of COCKSLAP

top kek shrek

Yeah, and that means nothing if I'm only purchasing it today. I said the super key is useful. It's a reason why I don't own that keyboard. Didn't reddit teach you any people skills, just incorrect spacing?

>No numpad
This is a good thing.

>needs a PS/2 connector?
PS/2 to USB converters are everywhere.

i used to use this bad boy sometimes when I worked for the police dept.

It's not missing it "for no reason" you fucking minge muffin. I'm guessing your people skills are as good as mine arguing with a stranger on a Bosnian fingerprinting forum.

Aren't mechanical keyboards more or less the same, but better?

No, because I prefer bump feedback to click feedback, so I use 55g Topre.

>tfw no space cadet keyboard

I use one on my old machine.

Not as I remember it. Also, these keyboards aren't even mechanical, it's glorified membrane keyboards.

>tfw no lisp machine

They are buckling spring keyboards

no because with a PS/2-USB adapter the rollover is only like 4 or 5 keys. Also I gave the '86 I restored to a friend.

for me it's gonna be a model f

it's got a memebrane but no rubber spring mat which is what degrades in a membrane keyboard. The buckling springs physically move plastic switches that contact the points in the membrane so it's actually a pretty durable design.

>it's gimped because it's vintage!
nobody cares you stupid hipster

On matching PS/2s, yeah, but I'm not cringing out my main setup with some bulk-ass /mkg/ hipster fashion accessory that clashes with everything on my desk for no reason.
