Sorry for you, OP.

>sata

860 evo in high capacity has more than enough endurance and lol sata.

>$1200

Holy shit.

I'm waiting for the 4tb SSDs to hit the $200 range.

>SATA
Lol

This, but boy have they dropped in price in the last few years.

enjoy your overheating and data loss nvmeme

> SATA
Tell me more about your antique collection.

Nice meme

What's nvme have to do with connection type? M.2 >SATA

fpbp

Also
>NAND reaching high temperatures is bad
Imagine being this retarded

Yes I can:
>two 12 TB HDD in RAID 0
>128 GB intel optane for cache
Six time the volume for the same money and comparable performance, there's enough cache to hold several games in it and have blazing fast loading times.

Tell me more about your down syndrome. Retard.

You bought a device 6x slower, 3x larger using obsolete technology and I'm the one with down syndrome?

Kek.

>SATA
>not NVME
lol.
Enjoy

itt: everyone's smarter than OP who's a total retard

why the fuck would you buy a "PRO" SATA drive? either get a NVMe drive or some cheap(er) SSD if you have to use SATA for some reason.

show me an nvme that is 4TB

>t-tell me i made the r-right decision g-goyim

soon, brother

that's like fucking 14 4TB drives

don't fuck underage drives, please.

Pro is just branding for their MLC drives.

>failing for the korean jew

>not having mooney for best product on market
>be mad

>best SSD on the market
Conumerist retard doesn't know what slc is.

I might fill my servers with these.

based and prosumerpilled

WTF would you need a 4TB SSD for anyhow? To load up your movies faster? Or having a Steam library full of games you will never play? A 250GB SSD and 4TB HDD is more than enough for the average consumer.

>4tb SSD
>NVMe meme
you're both stupid

For games you dunce.....

I already filled up half of my 2 TB SSD.

And I play pretty much all of those games on a fairly regular basis.

Do you know how much space R6S takes up with the Ultra HD texture pack?

112 fucking GIG. For ONE game.

go to /v/

You're just mad I made a decent point.

Black ops 4 is 82GB, Destiny 2 is also 82GB.

I could go on but you always want your games on an SSD.

PUBG for example, suffers to the point that buildings may not load in a timely manner if on a HDD.

I have an 8TB HDD for my plex server, media storage is what HDD should be used for.

Sata

What a dumbass

I bought a 2tb for like $400 dollars about 2 years ago which was cheap as they were just above >500 at the time. 4tb ssds around $300 has me interested for sure, im hoping 4tbs break 300 by this years end because it looks like 2tbs are already hitting $250 right now.

fuck the spergs on Jow Forums i did the same thing,

I have about 30 games on steam filling up a single 2tb sata ssd.

SATA is better than M2

Are you just pretending to be retarded?

>last few years.
*last one year

So you spent the extra money on the pro instead of the evo when the only difference is higher TBW? Performance won't be better (and you'd be using NVMe if you cared about perf anyways) so the most distinguishing difference is the TBW. The issue here is that this improves with capacity, and at 4TB, unless you're using that shit in an enterprise server this isn't something you'd ever have to worry about. That SSD will last forever. Could have just saved some money on the evo version with the same results and put that into saving up for your next SSD

SATA controllers won't heat up, for starters. And they are way cheaper, no performance difference whatsoever.

>no performance difference whatsoever.
That is because an NVME SSD does in one second what a SATA SSD does in 6.

Besides the performance drop is not below the speed of SATA.
