I don't understand why this gentleman gets so much hate from everybody on the internet.
February 3, 2019 - 13:32
Actionscript always had a separate compilation step and Adobe had early JS implementations, one of which was donated to Firefox. That being said, before JS was utilized, Adobe had some attempts to use the preinstalled VBScript and AppleScript facilities.

NSA was amazingly self-aware when they came for career fairs or company sponsored events. Gave out USB's that said "do you dare?" if you had any experience on your resume. Rumor was if you opened the drive using a virtual machine it would give you a link to skip the first round of intern interviews.

most disgusting thing I read so far this year if the -O5000 compiler decided to do that fine, but by design from the programmer?

reading cached memory is probably cheaper than xoring two registers, I don't think compilers would ever do this but it's a fun bit trick

>the terminal is the shell this is where the conversation went sideways it's not incorrect to call gnome shell "the shell", though it requires some context, especially since the most obvious shell on a linux system is bash "the terminal is the shell" is just plain wrong, though, under no circumstance can a terminal be a shell
