I think that bar can be used for top menu, but it would definitely break some programs.
Anyway, making it like BeOS/Haiku would be more difficult, than making weird W2K.

Idea guy here, you're all doing it wrong
It needs to be based off an existing stacking WM (like cwm for example), with a good default rice for dmenu and a minimal bar+notification system (built with lemonbar) already included, so the average Jow Forums NEET can get to ricing quickly.
