thats 3.1 tho

winamp

there are cool games

but there are no cool software

windows 98 second edition starts to have some software, here is the bestest:

daemon tools (for using CD images)
clone cd (for creating cd images from actual cd:s)

clone cd is the best software of its kind ever made but it doesnt work beyond windows xp and it works best on 98

are there any really good software for 3.1 which does not appear later as a 32 bit software?

if such a software exists, there would be areason to use 3.1 for something

it can be any kind of software: neat way to create pixel art / graphhics, an ingenious way to create peculiar sounds or music, etc

bonzi buddy

if software was really good then they would have ported it obviously

System Shock and Command & Conquer

Sonique is mandatory, it's the coolest looking MP3 player.

they're good in doing so much with so little resource, a rarity these days

Chips challenge

which softwares especially?
I think most graphic softwares that runs on 16-bit seem to be obsolete

but 16-bit word processors are pretty nice, even useable if you just do documents for yourself to print on to paper

also, there is 16 bit music software which is unbeatable and no modern program can match it on the area of creating a MIDI file, but it cant do anything else however

it is named Cakewalk Professional 3.0 and it is from the year 1994
