How power efficient is your setup?

My entire battle station only uses ~100w idle

>I5 3570k @ 3.9ghz 1.05v
>R9 290
>50in LED TV, 32in 1440p monitor
>S915 android TV box.

Nah, just my regular setup sits at 500w idle, pushing it comes up to about 700w. That doesn't include any of my other boxes on a seperate UPS.

does your room get warm

It used to but now with my new TV it stays pretty cold. My old TV was somewhere around 200w, the new one uses 23w and is bigger with a much better picture and more "features". That said it's below freezing right now outside so the room is a bit colder than usual.

>Only 100w
ivy bridge and amd gpu and the first thing you want to talk about is power efficiency?

It's actually very good? R9 290 has like 11w idle draw. Remember I'm including a 50in TV and 32in monitor (both 0% brightness).

If I turn those displays off the system idles at 60w.

>0% brightness
lmao

0% is still too bright for me on both my displays. I have to use programs like twilight to dim further.

What ups is that?

Cyberpower 1000AVR

I was thinking about buying cyberpower... how hard is it to get them replacement batteries in EU?

Not very because I'm on 110V instead of 240V.

Phenom x4 965, Radeon 6770 - 69W idle - 255W prime95+furmark
2x24" LCD ccfl backlight - 2x43W

>imagine the smell
Dude, clean your fucking piece.
And your whole god damn desk for that matter.

My dual xeon system that sits there and does nothing besides host a 1 kB HTTP webpage uses 200W always.

> caring about power efficiency
Fuck it. 1kw because the earth needs to heat up before the north turns into a glacier

You're paying $15/month in electricity for something that could be done for free?

I used to be like that. Was running old server just because.

you're aware you have to pay for electricity, right? Oh who am I kidding...

How about I pose you guys a question: cheapest good shit disk shelf with platinum-gold PSU rating to help alleviate my space heater here.
Disk shelf makes the most heat surprisingly.

How do I measure power consumption while idle?

why would it do that if its doing nothing

>only
my entire server rack uses that much

electricity is cheap here and ill never have children so i don't give a fuck. but i measured my setup at about 125w idle.
