Whole point of the homescreen is to allow easy access to all apps you regularly use.
The challenge lies in making it functional in this way and also aesthetic.
Half the posts in these threads are just showing off the wallpaper with maybe one or two icons at the bottom; who gives a shit.

I mean it's really not that hard to just swipe up to access the app drawer. Granted I keep things pretty light so it's not like I have to scroll through a million apps to find the one I want.
