>default to off
i don't see the problem with this

Gotta gimp web apps to keep iStore relevant. Same reason they blocked Flash.

I don't see the problem either. Remember Do Not Track? It's very successful at protecting consumers' privacy

That's actually a pretty good idea.
I never liked Apple. Too expensive hardware, totally no freedom in iJailOS, but I really like that they care about privacy and security.

Probably will buy an iPhone, instead of a Nokia next time.

This should have been default from iOS alpha.

So in other words, "web apps" currently have access to all the sensors on your iPhone

they make a profit without selling your data I guess? idk why they 'care' but I guess that plays a part. no corporation does this out of the good of their own heart, that's for sure

>BASED
I see this everywhere on this forum but what does it actually mean? Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

it means you need to go back to retarditt

>they make a profit without selling your data I guess?
Exactly.
They literally have a monopoly on private smartphones now.
Best phone to get, until we get a FOSS Linux phone (looking at you, PostmarketOS)

Android is really a mess.
>awful update policy
>data-collecting apps anywhere in the playstore
>data-collecting OS thanks to uninstallable gapps
>new phones even have pre-installed and uninstallable Facebook app

Everyone needs to see this post before posting their opinions.

is your search page broken?

not sure about best. but it works. they should be assumed to be in cahoots with the Five Eyes intelligence orgs, given their operation in the US, but they aren't as reliant on data as some

Wait so until then it just gives access to sensors by default? The absolute state of iThings...

>>data-collecting OS thanks to uninstallable gapps
You can use lineage without gapps

Fucking Jow Forumstards cant understand. So against privacy but all use shitty riced up anime droids and made fun of apple all this time, yet at the end of the day they're the good guys. The state of this board...

>actually useful web apps get crippled
>shitty paid store apps are filled with telemetry ads and forced updates

Can't stand Apple and think of osx/iOS as trash, however good on Apple for doing this.

The only issue is why wasnt this immediately the case?

>that'll be $2999 + tax + tip, Sir
