Ryan Cooper
>take out each of the key caps
>blow air on the exposed keyboard
>wipe the surface clean
>meanwhile my key caps are being soaked in soapwater and then I drain it and wipe the caps dry
>put it all together after a while
I do this two times a year.

First off, wash your hands, that avoids buildup of grime. Supposedly bacteria count in that grime is worse than an average toilet.
Cooper Hill
toilets are fairly clean though, bacteria doesn't really adhere well to porcelain. hence why they've been made of the same material since their inception around the mid 19th centuryish iirc
Noah James
i wash my K120's top plastic every day - it makes the keys softer
