Got my memewatch
Pros:
>is not of the avtomat, make strong finger with the winding, not like weak capitalist baby fingers
>glorious soviet aircraft on dial to remind comrades of inferior western engineering
>is not of the real gold, as that would show class privilege, which would earn trip to gulag of friendship and re-education
>crystal is of the acrylic. While capitalists would complain that this scratches easily, is actual device for stimulating economy of loyal soviet replacement parts industry
>average movement lifetime is 10 years, which is the average amount of time the comissar will send you to gulag when he is of the learning of using decadent capitalist technology website
Cons:
>original supplied strap is of inferior quality... probably imported from the west to remind soviets of inferior capitalist workmanship

Would mechanical watches be a better alternative to quartz when it comes to deep space / long term missions?

dunno but automatic wouldn't work in zero g, manu-wind would be fine, or maybe a solar g'shock?

inertia works in zero-g, you'd just have to flip your wrist around more than usual. Could also handwind. I'd think microgravity would make an earth-regulated mecha watch inaccurate.

Nice. I have the SU-37 face on mine, but I've misplaced the watch somewhere and I've not been able to find it for years.

forgot about inertia though wouldn't that make it more of an easier manu-wind though

I am a watch guy got a small collection, but this is seriously the best thing that I’ve ever bought, hate all youb want.

And the list goes on.

Does anyone know where to buy decent-feeling NATO straps in Australia?

Nice Seiko, misses some accessories though, some nice bracelets or beads would really bring out your wristgame.
