I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL AMD DELIVERS!!

DELID

remove PSP

I remember being an AMD drone waiting for bulldozer to crush Intel.

Regarding AmdTV questionable leaks.
A more realistic expectation would be 6-8-12-16 core chips with 4.5ghz boost cocks on 1-2 cores with 30% lower TDP than equivalent Intel chips
Maybe 2-5% IPC boost at best.
Probably decent prices.
Will need serious MOBO VRMs to run 8+ cores at 5.0ghz+

5ghz boost on a 16 core is literally within spec for 7nm, you are just in denial

No it's not.
7nm is not this All ending 5.0ghz monster AMD drones think it is.
Clock for clock it's 30% more pwr efficient.
IDK why you Wait fags think you will get $300 16 core 5.0ghz Zen 2 chips.

>Clock for clock it's 30% more pwr efficient.
50%, you fucking lying shill. It's either 50% more efficient at same clocks or 25% more clocks with same power.

deliding wont help with power consumption though, just like 5-10C in temps.

7nm was originally stated to be 50% more power efficient in TSMC's own slides.
Then it was downgraded to 40%
Then now 30%
Based on the new 7nm Vega refresh and AMD Zen engineering sample; 7nm has a small frequency boost, but it's minor.
That's why a 4.5ghz boost from Zen+ 4.2ghz boost is a realistic number.

Again, you are going to be disappointed again of you set your stands as high at these Fake leaks.
Even AMD reps commented saying the leaks weren't realistic and they didn't want people getting hyped up over nothing.

Ryzen 5 3600g will be where it's at for everyone except for the most video game addicted fa/g/gots.

oath i just want to see that faggot backpedalling on twitter and shit

He never will. His drone army already forgot about it.

nah someone will call him out on reddit or pootube and he'll sperg the fuck out about it for a week or two

will be entertaining even if the cpus aren't

Hopefully a few realize how fucking dumb it is to over hype AMD products before release.

>core2duo in 2019
Boy I LOVE latency.

You can tell this shit is fake by the APU specs. Current APUs are already bandwidth starved so adding more CUs would be a complete waste of silicon. Something like this won't happen until at least DDR5, if ever. The only way it'd work is by adding on-substrate HBM, that however would defeat the whole point of those APUs as it'd make them more expensive than Ryzen 7 at least.

Also it's pretty certain 3000 APUs will be just a Zen+ 12nm shrink and 7nm will come in 4000 APUs

you can disable the PSP in the bios

...... Ffs
Tcms 7nm is not 50% more power efficient. 50% more means 150% total which means 7nm uses 1/1.5 = 66% of 14nm power.

Now to the real numbers: amd stated tsmcs 7nm provides the same performance at 50% of the power or 25% more performance at the same power.
Sinxe zen/zen+ can hit 4Ghz boost 5Ghz is exactly 25% more and therefore likely a reality. Especially since amd seems to be pretty good at maximizing the clock speeds. For example a 2700x doesn't benefit from a normal overclock at all, it's already maxed out.
Now the ipc: Amd claims 13%, given that zen is a new architecture this improvements are definitely possible. Just remember the core series had massive ipc jumps too when it was new. Also doubling the l3 cache will also increase ipc. 13% is possible and amds previous ipc statements were either matched or exceeded.

Is the 200$ worth it (3700x -3850x)?
