What is the best working laptop under 2.5k € ?

To be used for development.
Looking for god tier keyboard and display, needs to be 14" and sturdy - these are highest prios.

Also I do not want a macbook, though I might get convinced.

2.5k wtf? If you spend that much you're an idiot. Midrange ThinkPad will do fine, spend some of the rest on another display, keyboard, mouse

ThinkPad T520
>Good display
>Fairly powerful
>God-tier classic thinkpad keyboard
>Trackpoint

MacBook pro 13" with truetone display.
Upgrade the RAM to 16GiB and the SSD to 512GiB.
You can't beat it overall for the price.
You can beat the CPU/RAM easily in other laptops, but no laptop will have a combination of all of these
- quality of screen (resolution, argb completeness, ppi)
- trackpad (Apple's are first in class, which is good because their mice blow)
- number of USB-C ports (4)
- wireless card (full duplex)
- battery life

The tradeoffs, as mentioned, are
- less CPU power (still more than enough for modern development on the go)
- less ability to customize your build (in the future you might want more space)
- if you need a discrete GPU then you will have to buy an external
- Satania will laugh at you
- thermal throttling (all laptops are susceptible to this, but MacBooks experience it a bit more due to their silent design)

You will have access to all of your GNU utilities on MacOS (if you choose to stay on platform), just get them from Homebrew. And the development experience will be significantly better than Windows and comparable to Linux (better in my opinion, just for the ease of use that goes into them)
Good luck, identify your priorities, and find what works best for you.

Adding on, Apple has a no questions asked return policy for 7 days.
You can try one out and see if it suits you, and get a better impression of its pros and cons before choosing to return it or keep it.

No need to call names, this will not be paid by me. Doesn't need to be 2,5k, this is the upper limit for hardware and I want to squeeze some other things apart from laptop under this budget

>regular solution
Chinkpad X1 Carbon
>crazy uncle solution
X1 Extreme

Literally any modern business laptop that isn't some ultra thin piece of shit aimed at executives.

>isn't some ultra thin piece of shit aimed at executives.
ie: don't get - it's a toy not a work machine.

>considering macshit
>for even a nanosecond
