qBittorrent

I agree. uTorrent got too bloated with ads.

>people are stil using μtorrent even though it went to shit so long ago I don't even remember how many years it has been

rTorrent.

used deluge, transmission, ooold utorrent, other random shit, and I just use qbittorent now

The only correct answer is Transmission

Why would you ever update the software? 2.2.1 is perfectly fine.

I tried other torrent programs when I last reinstalled Windows but they all had these small annoying flaws. IIRC one of them (qbit?) didn't even remember recently used download folders and stubbornly uses a default download folder.

- qbittorrent for fast performance and usability (though it was unstable in my case and would bsod the system occasionally)
- deluge - a reliable mule

for me, it's an old, pre-ads version of micro-torrent, because the tracker i download from works the best with it.

transmission

>Transmission
This. This and This.

I have no idea why anyone would use anything else unless you are some power user needing port fowarding

is it because the windows version is so obscure ? you actually have to dig to find it... i even use itransmission on my jailbroken iphones to torrent off city wifi when i am travelling or moving house.

proprietary shills can go suck a big fat cock.

Qbit

>Has everything you'll ever need

Switching from μtorrent to Qbit was like night and day for me.

buggy aids shit.

utorrent 2.2.1 and rtorrent are the only two good clients anymore

qbittorrent

Transmission is the ultimate BT client.

I just use Deluge with a web interface to don't eat my ram and that just works. I think QBit is more rich features but I don't need that at moment.
