VScode Color Theme Thread

So what VScode color theme do you use Jow Forums? Here are my three favourites. First of all, blueprint, very easy on the eyes and great for reading as it uses very few colors.

Second is Horizon, a very cozy and modern color theme. Very stylish and really impresses others in the office.

Then my third favourite, MSDOS. The nostalgia takes me back to my childhood of Windows 95. I usually use this theme when I'm working in a coffee shop or on the train. It really helps communicate that I am a serious coder to the general public and that I am not to be disturbed.

Been using an old hope dark for years now.

Disgusting use high contrast monokai

New Moon

I like Nord, it's a nice dark theme that's fairly desaturated and easy to look at.

I want medieval/illuminated script theme. Recommend me one, OP

Even looking at that image hurts my eyes. Actually programming on it for 8+ hours a day would make me legally blind pretty quick.

VSCode is for faggots and pajeets.

Use Sublimetext with the Monokai theme if you're actually serious about programming.

Sublimetext is now a subset of VScode, just like Linux is now just a subsystem for Windows. BTFO eternally freetard

C'mon user.

i like rainbow vomit so it's monokai for me

Chads use Vim for development.

>actually thinking this is true

Makes me want to dig up my old Borland Turbo C++ themes

Only autistic LARPers with a BMI of over 30 use Vim. The actual chads are the ones who use whichever tool is the most efficient for the job and don't act like posers on anime image boards.

>The actual chads are the ones who use whichever tool is the most efficient
So VIM.

>Making an emulator of something means you now own it
Okay buddy

>go from vim in st running on smol thonkpad lunik to vscode on with vim plugin & solarized running on windong box that has 2 decent fullhd monitors
>arguably nice features like documentation bits and debugging
>being constantly distracted that everything is electron-tier sluggish shit, colorful, notifications about plugins and whatnot and have to organize the 'buffers' and other program windows using mouse, productivity of studying webshit drops
>go back to thonkpad, single tiled nvim window and the humble list of number-switchable buffers one Tab key away, same with :Ex (CTRL-A)

i thought it would be opposite to have an editor that sucks your dick on every step of the project. i have conflicting view on vscode now.

Theme: 1Dark RainCoat

Looks like your One Dark Pro.

Why not just download the sublime keymap and theme from vs code if you like it so much?

Monokai, unless you're autistic.

Is VScode good for C#? I've been thinking about picking it up on loonix

Literally every single one of those zoomer code themes has comments barely visible.

They should do the ultimate zoomer coder theme that completely hides them. Comments are useless, people should figure stuff out from the code obviously.

vscode is pretty much good for everything, with the right plugins installed.

Anyone get strange rendering issues with any electron app on linux? Like the whole application starts to artifact and becomes unusable? As well as that the performance is awful yet if there is a webapp version it will work fine. Gpu accel problems?

Nvidia, i3

I get strange white spaces after waking up my laptop

Literally just the default for Horizon. I haven't dived into customising my fonts yet. It's rice enough for me with themes so far.

OH NONONONO

>space in filename
Get a load of this retard guys. Laugh and point while you can.

Cheers user I'll keep that in mind for next time.

I just use the standard Material Theme High Contrast Theme. Looks pretty neat. Also I love VSCode. Tried Sublime and Atom before that but VSCode just works better especially the code-completion and performance is great.

There is a very good reason to have comments pop less on the page, so that when you are reading through a section of code you aren't distracted by
>#My first for loop :) we loop through the list and blah blah blah, yours sincerely Ste...I mean...Stacy.

Is there anyway to get proper rgb antialiasing for the fonts on Linux? It seems to default to greyscale to me with no ptions.

Literally this.

Emacs with Moe theme

Vim + SF Mono Bold + srcrery

But I thought serious programmers used either emacs or vim?

This but unironically

Redpill me on VScode faggots. Why would I ever use anything but vim?

I use the default color theme.
