fair point. im not gonna lie like most people on Jow Forums. if i want to watch something HD, i download it and use VLC . 1080 youtube works ok, with page tearing. 4k youtube will not play. But those things are not necessary to me. I have 1gbit internet, but my wifi only pulls half that .

i think its great that technology is now at a point where well chosen inexpensive electronics do most thins very well. I live in Texas, where large companies shed enterprise boxes like old skin. I am NOT poor, BECAUSE i dont waste money on bullshit I dont need.

Nice PC. I am partial to Optiplexes, and recently started an Optiplex server farm/mainframe.

im certain my optiplex will run for ages, even after serving a useful life in some enterprise scenario. The cmos battery needs to be replaced, though, which is practically nothing.
