they are paranoid
and they are right
brainlets that dont understand how tor works

its started as a government project

if you control most of the exit nodes you can put the pieces together

Because talking out of your ass has been increasingly more popular on Jow Forums.

>and they are right
How so specifically? I don't recall Ross Ulbricht being compromised through Tor for one. Also for:

Even if all 3(5) of the nodes you're connected to were somehow compromised, it wouldn't be effective if your guard node isn't in your countries jurisdiction.

Tor itself isn't an NSA honeypot. Most of the .onion links are.
Stay safe.

Everyone on Tor who gets caught is usually just sending personally identifiable information about themselves through the exit nodes.

If you don't do the following it's perfectly safe:
1. enable javascript
2. share your email
3. log into accounts

They have thousands of nodes in Germany and preform timing attacks across the entire network to determine the ip route to your address. If using tor use public WiFi.

Never forget they also have backdoor access to your ISP's routers.

They will know the site you went to butt that's about it.

Sources, sources, sources, sources and sources?

Snowden you fool.

this. tor does not assume an effective global adversary with real time knowledge of data transmission and storage. exit nodes only number about 10k or so which in Internet scale terms is tiny and costs the watchers who can run up millions of nodes practically nothing to MITM those. that said I believe tor + cjdns is effective for data privacy between nodes but setting that up is custom work.

>trusting a virtue signaling traitor

Just how? He himself recommends Tor and Tails.

>traitor
>we're not bad for orchestrating a literal 1984.
>you're bad for letting the public know and holding us to at least some accountability
>being more loyal to the constitution than his own government

and Hawaii and UK.

Just understand that Snowden is limited hangout and you should always be a bit skeptical about what he says.
That said, I have little doubt that TOR is compromised.

>UK
lmao just pretend you're a muslim, they'll leave you alone.

>leave my gubbermint alone!!!!!
Silly yanks

this is a board for larpers. see

>Snowden said Tor is bad
>Snowden recommends Tor (and Tails and Signal) on every possible ocassion
Really activates olde almonde

Could you set it up to only use non-government exit nodes?

where is the larping in that

because they're fucking idiots

don't ever take advice from Jow Forums

RETARDS THE ACTUAL DOCUMENTS ON HOW TIMING ATTACKS ON TOR WORKS. TOR PROJECT EVEN RESPONDED TO THE DOCS AND HAVE IMPLEMENTED SOME MITIGATIONS BUT THEY SAID THE IS ONKY SO MUCH THEY CAN DO.

>Alex Jones tier rant on Jow Forums
>how come there's no truth to any of this
>where is the larping in that
