While i wouldn't actually say to ignore it in a real decision between the 2, it is interesting the 4 biggest 'wins' for Nvidia are ones where you are likely already at 100s of FPS so the difference doesnt matter.

Nvidia give them developers to work on the game implementing their features. Its not giving money, but free development the game company doesn't have to do is saving them money, so essentially Nvidia is giving them money.
