I'm happy with Vega until Navi comes out. :^)

>literally much worse than 2060
>2060 is already dog shit for literally most things
hahahaha

Imagine replacing your GPU more than once in a 5 year span lol My 780gtx still does a good job even if I have to knock some settings down to medium. I played CS series my whole life and know people that need everything maxd are insecure autists with OCD

/v/tards seriously thought that 1660 Ti is just a 2060 without RTX. Like raytracing is just some gimmick you can live without lmao.

>2060 shit
>wipes the floor with radeon 7

2060 is based fast. A lot of scrubs hate on it and can't accept it's powerful.

is already dog shit for literally most things
Wew lad now this is some AMDtard delusion.

it is a gimmick, desu
Name ONE game that benefits aesthetically from muh rtx

>not getting the full value of a game
>literally miss content
.shiggy diggy

So it's a slightly better 1070. Remember when new gen GPUs of this range used to match or surpass last gen GTX xx80 cards (104 chips)

It's not a gimmick because from now on you will have any choice. They'll never make a RTX 3060 without RTX. You might get a 2660 Ti but it's slower than a RTX 3060.

no choice*
Make that "matches 1080 in some cases"

>"matches 1080 in some cases"
Bull shit

I'm waiting on Navi, soon bros.

how do you find 2060 with non-degrading gddr?

>GTX 1660 Ti MSRP $279
>RX 580 MSRP $229
>1660 Ti quite possibly neck-and-neck with the 1070 if the 2060 wipes the floor with the 1070
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SAVE ME BENCHMARKERS!

AMDIOTS BTFO

I've just undervolted and overclocked my stock Vega 56 and got a Timespy graphics score of 7060 @ 1030mV which ain't bad considering a stock GTX 1070 Ti gets around that.

How are people surprised by this? Warnings that the gains from die shrinks were going to get smaller and smaller have been very prevalent.

>I'll just wait for Nvidia to sell me a 2060 without all the pricey useless shit
>It's 25% slower

Waitfags are just getting BTFO left and right

waiting on drivers to do the same to my vii

Good luck and report back with results.

Luddites BTFO. They'll have to live like bums outside of society with their slower cards if they don't want to adopt newer tech.

I’ve been running a 760 for four or five years that I bought for 150. It still werkz but I’m finally starting to need an upgrade

The 2060 is literally as fast as the Vega 64. 1660TI is going to hit 1070 zone. There will be no reason to buy a 590 or 580

2060 is still too overpriced. I remember when midrange GPUs were $150-200, not $300+

Will do
I'm not sure how many people here bought one but I'm probably one of the very few with one.

>I'm probably one of the very few with one
No one was dumb enough to buy an obviously repurposed workstation 2080 with no features

>$280
looks like i will keep using my housefire 580 for another year

It's honestly sad how desperate nvidia is getting now that driver updates have caught up with nvidia's faggotry. The 2060 is only 40% faster than a 580 with 25% lower vRAM so that means the 1660ti will only be 20% faster than the 580 with 75% lower vRAM.

What a let down desu.

>paying more for literally worse performance than a fucking 1070ti
hahaha, holy fuck, nvidiot shills are mentally challenged being fixing!

>6GB
I'd rather get a 1070ti or a 1080

>6gb in 2O!9
Yeah nvidiots have braindamage i guess, how fast they forgot bout the 760/770 cuckold choice

Lmao i bought a nitro plus 580,a few days ago
So far i only hate the gui of that shitty driver but everything else is fine and sadly there isn't any real Alternative to it from nvidia

The 2060 would be a damn good card if it had more than 6GB of VRAM, at that point you're better off with a 1070Ti since they're practically the same card when it comes to overall performance.

>tfw got a 2060 because 1070ti is fucking expensive now

Where do you live? Is Vega 56/64 also expensive over there? Paid $158 for mine, no regrets.

>There will be no reason to buy a 590 or 580

Attached: 1546873386817.jpg (216x233, 10K)

America.

Europooria ;(

The 2060 isn't that much of a shit card. Sure it'd be perfect if it had no Tensor cores with 8GB of VRAM but 6GB should be fine for the foreseeable future unless you're into content creation or if you absolutely need to crank everything to high, everyone in this thread that says it isn't is bullshitting.

>M-MUH VEGA REEE TENSORS
DLSS is going to wipe the floor with AMD. You can't even turn AA on GCN without tanking the performance

my $500 2 year old 1080 just keeps getting comfier and comfier

DLSS is essentially upscaling the image using "AI" and "deep learning" so playing a game that supports DLSS in 4K isn't actually playing it at true 4K.

This. It's a giant marketing scam. The performance gains are there because you're literally playing at a lower resolution with some fancy shit applied to the image.

Ray tracing looks pretty good desu

I'd say it's half of a scam right now. I'm sure there are comparisons out there putting a true 4K image against the same image with DLSS turned on but I'd assume the one with DLSS looks a bit different in some areas. Nvidia did something like this before with the introduction of Maxwell, DSR if I remember correctly.

Unrelated, but whats the best card i can get for $200? should i wait for a (future) GTX 2050/2050 TI?
I already own a GTX 1050TI.

Cheapest RX 580, but not worth the upgrade. Wait for the next generation.

Nvidia marketing is pulling a Geforce 2/4 MX bullshit. It is really just a "2050" minus RTX logic. If you already have a 970, 980Ti, 1070, 1060, 1080. There's no reason to get it.

>MFW when Nvidia steathly releases a "1660" which is really a rebranded 1060 with slightly lower boost speeds.

DLSS has a performance hit you idiots. It is just a form of SSAA using tensor cores on the RTX silicon, but it still requires memory bandwidth to keep those tensor cores fed.

The 1660 non-Ti is a scam, but at least it's a more obvious one, rather than the 1060 3GB/6GB. The 1660 Ti will be good for people trying to save money but want more performance than an RX 580.

It was hard to find 1070tis for $399 before the 2060 came out at $349. It's still overpriced but it's not that bad. Best performance/dollar except the 570/580 which just don't cut it anymore at 1080p144 or 1440p60

>bought 1070 Ti last month
>just realized that the 2060 came out
>returned the 1070 Ti for the 2060, saving my a lot of leaf bux

Everyone understands that, fact remains it looks like 4x msaa for a small performance hit. So far people are saying it solves most of the issues with temporal aliasing, like errors on transparent materials, haziness in some surfaces, etc. It's not perfect no, but it's effectively a more performant version of TAA but can be improved in the future with better training.

DSR and super sampling are literally rendering at a higher resolution and scaling down. It's better but has the same performance hit as actually rendering at the super resolution, i.e. big

>Everyone understands that, fact remains it looks like 4x msaa
Are you actually retarded?
