name a better distro.
>no systemd
>no debian faggotry
>no gentoo compilefaggotry.
Name a better distro
>no packages
Slackware is better in every way
*AHEM*
FUCK VOID
FUCK GENTOO
FUCK ARCH
AND FUCK NIGGERS TOO
BASED
no main developer
>name a better distro.
Alright.
>the only good systemd implementation
>no debian faggotry
>no gentoo compilefaggotry
>no void maintainerless faggotry.
Juan RP/xtraeme, the founder, has returned. The community maintainers did such a good job of taking over, it wouldn't even matter if he left forever. Void runs itself.
>No compilefaggotry
What are you talking about? xbps-src is great. Fuck you.
I would only use it if they have lots of support and packages.
Im sticking to debian.
TL;DR: Is it worth switching from KDE to XFCE/other in order to run void/ditch systemd?
>be me
>rocking an arch+KDE install for a few months
>fairly recently become aware of the whole anti-systemd meme
>deepstate conspiracies about systemd becoming more popular
>those behind systemd apparently have terrible practices and behavior
>"wow fuck systemd"
>install void linux
>works fine on XFCE
>GUI wifi applet only works as root on KDE
>cant use command line applet because it doesn't support WPA2 Enterprise
wat do? What DE are you running, void users?
The only good systemd implementation is one without systemd.
>Pony OS fag user.
Go back to
Gentoo.
Debian.
Mint.
Arch.
I don't even understand this autistic systemd non-sense.
Xfce is max comf and lightweight. No problems whatsoever for me.
Use slackware with KDE and no systemd
Brainlet
mmm... grayons
systemd on fedora is actually neat and unintrusive. It's correctly implemented and not just slapped there for the sake of not maintaining old SySv init systems.
This also makes GNOME on Fedora great too sice GNOME is tied to systemd.
If you ever had problems with systemd it's because of how bad it is implemented, not necesarly because of bad is systemd
Lol fedora, found the glow in the dark.
KDE, but this is desktop so no wifi
>What DE are you running, void users?
awesomewm on the laptop
LXQt + openbox on the desktop
Nice argument, retard.
>shitty obscure distro #9001
why
Void has KDE in its repositories, so feel free to install it. Start with the Xfce prebuilt ISO if you don't wanna set anything up from CLI
Nerd
Underrated
nice projection
