I'm afraid you meanies are gonna bully me if I post mine.

They definitely will.

>gpu goes WHIRRRRR when I gaym in ultrawide
I miss the coziness of just running 1920x1200 and the gpu barely having to do anything

Which gpu should I upgrade to? This is a GTX 960 and I get 30-40 fps in the games that I play. I want something that would run at 80 fps so it'd be quiet locked to my 60 Hz screens

>60hz
gas yourself
>Which gpu should I upgrade to?
vega 56 / 1070 ti on sale
>if you have money
jew-tx 2070

>ditching Ryzen for Intel for the 8 millionth time in your build
It was funny at first, now you're just retarded. Can't wait for the updated post where you switch back AGAIN.

already planning going back for ryzen 2.

Selling my current build which is an i5 6500 w/ a B150 board

All things equal which would you rather have

i5 9600K w/ a z390

or

Ryzen 2600x w/ a b450

All other components being the same. Price delta is about $100. Strictly a gaming setup. I could skip replacing the cooler on the 2600X and add another $50 to the price delta but for pure comparative purposes is the obvious performance advantage of the 9600K worth $100?

60 Hz is plenty.

eh, probably going to be a used 980ti

if going that route might as well grab a used 1070 / vega 56. similar price but faster.

>Disgusting midget case
I don't know why people do this then cry about loud fans and high temps

>jew-tx 2070
Rtx 2070 and 2060 are basically the same thing with a $100 difference

dunno, they seem to be about 100 eurobux more here

>I don't know why people do this
I did it because my setup can't fit a bigger case right now
So now you know

i5-2500K and R9 270X
Waiting for Zen 2 and any GPU finally worth buying, upgrading everything else in the meantime.

intel x vega
nice

Move that cooler from the bottom and seal empty space under card baboon

>Move that cooler from the bottom
Why? It helps supply air to the GPU and create positive pressure
>seal empty space under card
Why? It allows warm recirculated air to escape and lowers GPU temps

as long as there is a single hole fresh air will find it's way in, do not worry, you aint gonna make vacum in your basement
Air does not escape it's gpu getting its air from that side and not from case, totally killing point of dust filters

Alright, I will elaborate on why I think that is wrong when I get home and I might also do some testing with smoke. I still believe those empty pcie slots exhaust air, but you managed to spike some doubt.

reposting the same pics edition?

Doesn't 1700 somewhat bottleneck Radeon VII with its lower clocks?

probably
I can get it running at 3.8ghz which helps a bit. I'll be upgrading to zen 2 later this year anyways

Are you planning on a new motherboard or just drop in?

new motherboard eventually, unless msi forgets to do a bios update

Modular case is the best.

I'm digging this, tidy and cohesive. The gpu waterblock complements the mobo heatsinks and the angled tubes tie in as well.
Just needs a smidge of rgb from the chipset.

>I did it because my setup can't fit a bigger case right now
>So now you know
So it fits in a small and not a large case?
That makes sense

/Noctua gang/ reporting in
