As someone who bought a used rog strix 1080 ti for $540 right after the ReTardX press conference last year, it's hilarious seeing benchmarks try to leave it out. I think anyone buying a used 1080 ti for ~$500 last year did pretty damn good.
yes I will never know the crushing disappointment of buying a $1500 card for its ray-tracing chip and getting such poor performance that I turn it off.
