They're totally different. Gentoo is much more involved and will take longer, as you will have to compile more software. Arch is a very simple install that takes 5-10 minutes depending on your download speed.

>much more involved
literally the same thing except you have to configure portage and build the kernel

You're pedantic and can't grasp definitions.
Jaxson Perez
yes, the documentation for installing Gentoo is far better and more helpful
but you have to wait to compiler kernel and few things, so it takes more timer (idle)
Angel Edwards
Gentoo is a meme unless you have a freedumbs boner.

It's not a terrible idea except for the fact that you're gonna need to have a lithium battery to power the subwoofer which means you'd have a lithium battery in your ass. You'd be butt-blasted in quite the literal sense if it ever went thermonuclear.
Also I imagine it'd be a bitch to sanitize.
Lucas Sanchez
It's less of a headache to maintain.
Henry Bailey
Gentoo is harder to install but stable afterwards.

You can also enable it to be unstable too and use the latest software like Arch.
Jordan Anderson
Sure, the point is you don't get that choice on arch.
Sebastian Parker
I would unironically buy this
